( this ending isn't a happily ever after. Don't get fooled by the once upon a time beginning)
There once was a little town called toothpick town. It had tiny people and tiny houses and best of all there was a teeny boy named Timmy Tomethy. Timmy Tomethy was a particularly tiny boy. He was almost 10 years old and the teeniest in his class. You see, Timmy Tomethy wanted to be a knight. He wanted to be the kind of knight that would ride his steed through the toothpick forests and the never-ending toothpick fields. Every now and again he would gaze into the distance and picture himself on a tall, golden horse riding off into the sunset. His teacher would tap him on the shoulder and Timmy would snap back into reality.
"2! The answer is 2!"
On this particular day in toothpick town, this was just the case.
" no Timmy. The answer is not two. There is no answer. You are taking a vocabulary test."
" oh." Timmy is still thinking about his steed and the toothpick fields. "I'm sorry"Tolin Tolumburg was most likely in the whole town to be the knight in shining armor that Timmy always dreamed of being, for he was the strongest. But Tolin Tolumburg didn't wish to be a knight. He wanted to be a blacksmith.
If Tolin wouldn't be a knight then Tillomurf Teeber would be. He was the smartest. But Tillomurf didn't wish to be a knight. He wanted to be an author.
If Tillomurf wouldn't be the knight then Tully Tickler would be. She was the fastest. But Tully didn't know what she wanted to be when she grew up. Every time someone would ask her she would say "it depends, I suppose, on what I decide on." And she would turn on her heel and run smack into Timmy.
On this particular day in toothpick town, this was just the case.
BAM
"Hello Timmy."
"Hello Tully"
"How are you doing Timmy?"
" well. How about you Tully?"
"Fine. I'll be on my way now."
" sounds good to me."
This entire conversation went on as Timmy and Tully where only 6 inches from each other. Tully side-stepped. Timmy side-stepped the other way.
BAM
"That's a wall, Timmy "
Timmy was not strong, smart, or fast, but he wanted to be the best knight that toothpick town had ever had.20 years later
Tully was an archaeologist and a mother.
Tillomurf was an author and a counselor.
Tolin was an amazing blacksmith and a father.
Timmy was dead. He died in the battle that saved Tolin, Tillomurf, Tully, and the rest of toothpick town.
He was more than a knight in shining armor on a tall, golden steed.
He was a hero.
