I stepped into homeroom my face still slightly flushed. Everyone turned and looked at me.
"Welcome Miss, you are?" said a middle-aged man grabbing a clipboard from his desk.
"Sorry, I got lost. I'm Alice Stone" I said my cheeks warming up as he gasped
"Miss.Stone, its a pleasure to have you here please take a seat" Mr.Miller said playing with his collar.
I walked to my desk and saw a bag in my way "Excuse me, can you move your bag please?" she asked smiling at a boy who looked scary, big and like he could break a person in half. He looked up frightened and snatched his bag up. "Thanks?" Ali said taking a seat next to a blonde with an adorable pixie cut. "Hey" she said trying to be friendly. The blonde looked at her then at her friends and scooted away. Okay then, Ali thought. Maybe it will pass by second peroid. Or so she thought, after Homeroom she walked towards her next class and the entire hall parted to let her go. People stared at her like she had a gun in her hands. After yet another frusturating class, she walked to her locker to wait for Mikey and Josh. When they came in view she saw they each had there arms wrapped around a girl. Josh's girl had long silky red hair and bright green eyes, while Mikey's girl had a blonde pixie cut and blue eyes, the same girl who had scooted away from Ali.
"Joshy, Mikey" she said smiling and walking towards them. Both girls stopped as they saw Ali and muttered something about the bathroom and rushed off.
"Hey Ali" Josh and Mikey said in unison
"Did you see that!" Ali growled
"See what?" Josh said looking around while Mikey had a look of confusion on his face.
"Everyone in this god damn school won't talk to me. They see me and run the other way and look at me like I'm a ticking bomb about to explode" Ali said kicking the longer. "They don't even know me, stupid idiots" she muttered along with a few words that she was certain her mother would faint if she heard.
"Oh uhm yeah that" Mikey said loosening his collar "Me and Josh might have told a few people you had a temper issue" he said looking down
"YOU DID WHAT?!" Ali yelled and noticed a few people looking her way. Ali lowered her voice so only they could hear. "Thanks alot you guys. Ruin this school for me. All I wanted was to start over, but I guess that isn't possible with you around. Maybe I shouldn't have asked you to come along with me" she said angry and hurt written on her face.
"Ali listen-" Josh started
"Leave me along Josh. Don't even bother talking to me. You and Michael go with your new friends" she said pushing past them walking outside. Screw going to school, she would just take online lessons or something. She grabbed the car keys from her bag and stepped in her car, she paused as the school gaurd came to her window "Miss, students aren't aloud to leave school grounds till after school" he said
"Hi, My name is Alice Stone from the Midnight Pack. I have urgent business to take care of" she said forcing a smile
The guard jumped back "Of course Miss.Stone" he said opening the gates. Ali drove back to the flat and parked the car. She started feeling bad about leaving the boys at the school without a ride. "There new friends can bring them home" she said walking into her room and changing into shorts and a tshirt. She layed on her bed and watched Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire on her laptop with a large bowl of popcorn. She was at the part where Harry's name was pulled out of the Goblet when her phone started ringing, pausing the movie and picking up her phone without looking at the name.
"Hello" she said
"Hey, Ali it's me Zach. You said to call you, so here I am" Zach said
"Oh hey Zach." she said smiling and feeling her cheeks blush
"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today with my, Javier, Lucas and Leon?, it's fine if you don't want to." he rushed out quickly
"I'd love to, want to come over to my place?" she said grinning
"Yeah,we'd love to.Where is your place?" he asked his voice sounding happier.
Ali rattled off the address and hung up. She was about to have four really got guys in her house! She laughed and changed into a dark green sweater, light wash skinny jeans and pulled on gray socks. She put her hair up into a messy bun with a few strands down and retouched her makeup. Walking to the kitchen she got out sodas, waters, and tons of snacks. Hearing someone open the door, she instantly smelt Josh and Mikey. Growling lowly she shoved her headphones in and blasted the music placing the chips into different colored bowls. The boys walked into the kitchen smiling .and took in the food. She lowered the volume on her phone and ignored them.
"Awh Ali, you didn't have to put out so many snack. We don't eat to much junk" Josh said reaching for a chip. Ali narrowed her eyes and slapped his hand away
"Go away, it isn't for you" she hissed.
"Ali, are you still mad at us?" Mikey said leaning against the counter
"Go to hell" she said walking towards the door as she heard a knock. She pulled it open and was met with Javiers face "Come on into the living room guys, but first help me bring out all the snacks?" she asked smiling and letting them in. Zach gave her a smile that made her belly tingle.
"Sweet flat" Leon and Lucas said at the same time. Ali and the boys cracked up when she heard someone 'Ahem'. She turned and saw Mikey and Josh glaring at the guys.
"Who are you?" Josh said standing up straight
"I'm Zach, and these are my brothers. Lucas, Leon and Javier" Zach said looking at Ali which caused her cheeks to heat up.
"Mikey, Josh bugg off. Go hangout with your new friends and leave them alone. Or are you going to make them run off too?" she said glaring at them.
"Fine" Mikey snapped and stormed out of the room, Josh turned and looked at Ali shaking his head and following Mikey upstairs.
"Is there a problem?" Javier said looking towards them
"No, we just aren't on speaking terms right now, But lets do something" she said smiling.
The boys reminded her so much of her brother and friends back home, they played Zelda and then ordered pizza. They talked about taking a trip to Spain during break and talked about all the adventures Ali had with her brother. As they were leaving each on of them gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek which caused her to turn bright red. She waved by as they sped away in there car, and started cleaning up the empty bowls and wipping the table. She grabbed some slices of pizza and set them on three plates. She walked to her room and texted Mikey and Josh.
'Pizza in my room if you want to come.'
She sat waiting for them, but they never showed. Ali sighed and placed the plates on her nightstand and changed into her jammies. Snuggling into her blankets she closed her eyes.
