Abducted by my Nightmare

Chapter 1: What Happened That Night

Prologue

Sitting around the fire with my grandchildren I listened to the wind howling outside and watching the kids play on the rug in front of the fire. There was a quick flash of lightning followed by a loud clap of thunder and the youngest granddaughter Amelia jumped up and crawled onto my lap I stroked her hair and she looked up at me.

“Tell me Amelia; are you really scared of a little thunder and lightning?” I asked as she sat up and looked at me with a small a smile for she knew what I was about to do.

“Now how about a nice story? Huh?” I asked as all three of my grandchildren gathered around me.

Chapter 1

It was dark when Stardust woke, She did not know why she was awake but she was. She tried to go back to sleep but could not find a nice spot in the bed. Well if I am not going to go back to sleep I might as well just get up she thought. So she slid out of bed and pulled on her white robe and slipped out the door. It was a little bit cold outside when she walked out onto the porch. She walked over to the stables were her beautiful white mare was and looked inside and her horse was gone. She gasped and ran around the stable looking for her but found nothing.

“What are you looking for?” said a voice from behind her. She spun around and gasped because right in front of her was a huge purple dragon staring at her. She reached down and grabbed the handle of her throwing knife that was tucked in her boot. She slowly stood up and held the knife at the purple dragon. It just looked at her and smiled if a dragon could even smile.

“Do you really think that you can kill me with that little knife?” it asked and at that moment her blade got really hot and turned red. Stardust dropped the knife the dragon stood up from its perch and landed on the ground in front of her. With a sigh it wound its tail around her waist and lifted me into the air. She screamed and thrashed around but could not get free of the dragons grip.

        “Stop thrashing Stardust and enjoy the view while it last.” It said as they flew higher. After awhile a castle came into sight.

        The castle was greenish- black with bones scattered all over the place. The place looked like a scene from one of those really scary horror movies. The dragon landed with a thud and lifted her into the air and then put her on the ground in front of it. Then the giant doors to the castle opened and out of them came a red dragon. It walked up to the other dragon and snarled the purple dragon jumped and flew away. She was left there on mher own with the giant red dragon. It was about 19 feet tall and 28 feet long not includeing the long wip-like tail that slashed through the air like a sword.

The dragon lifted itself on its hind legs and the air around her got really hot and she felt herself looseing conscieniousess.

Chapter 2

When Stardust woke up she had a slight headache and a pain in her left arm. She sat upright and found herself in a black room with a pile of hay in one corner and a table in the other. She sat on the edge of the hay bed and tried to remember what had happend all she remember is that she had gotten dizzy and fainted. Stardust didn't remember why her arm hurt so much but she had remembered the dragon.  No there was two dragons or was it just one mixed up dragon she couldn't remember. At that moment the cell door opend and a woman wearing a brown dress, a white apron, and a black bow that tied her long purple hair up into a ponytail. She set a gray tray on the table that sat in the corner of the room.

"Wait!" she said as the woman started to leave. The woman turned around and looked at her and bowed to her.

"What is it that you need?" the woman asked.

"What is your name? Where am I? Why am I here? Why me? What are they going to do to me? And why are there dragons fling around everywhere?" she said.

"The answer to your first question is Analda." she said "The anwser to your second question is that you are in the dragons king's  castle, you are here because we need you, you are speciel, I do not know what they plan to do to you, and these dragons are people cursed with the Death plague, and they think that you can help us lift the curse. Also we are cursed because of the dragon kings doings. You see the dragon king is notr so nice expecialy to strangers so keep an eye out for him ok?" 

"Ok." she said and Analda turned on her heel and walked away. When she left Stardust layed down and fell asleep because she would rather sleep then think of her situation.

when Stardust woke back up she was a bit confused for she had not really dreamed of anything it was just black. An hour or so later the woman with the purple hair came back with a clean set of clothes. She set them down on the table  and left but before she shut the door she turned to look at her.

"Don't take to long to get dressed ok. The king dose not like to wait." she said as she locked the door. She walked over to the table were Analda had put the clothes and picked them up and studied them. Analda had given her a black and red dress that reached the floor, a red mask, and a pair of silver shoes.
