I woke up in my bed stretching with a smile upon my face. I rolled out and put on some flannel pjs, then went in my bathroom to wash my face. I walked out to my living room to find a shirtless AJ asleep on my couch.

I chuckled to myself then went to the sink to get a glass of water. I sat down on the coffee table beside AJ and then yelled, "AJ!" As he quickly rose his head in confusion, I splashed the water across his face.

He gasped for air and sat up on the couch, "good morning to you too". He grumpily whispered.

"Why do you crash on my couch, if I do this to you every time?" I sat up and went to the kitchen to brew coffee.

"I enjoy waking up in fear," he ran his hands against his eyes.

"Plus your apartment isn't that far". I pointed to the wall, since he was my next door neighbor.

"Well, after we came home drunk," he stood up stretching his arms.

"I was not drunk!" I corrected him.

"After I came to your house drunk, I couldn't find my apartment key, so I slept on this uncomfortable couch". He kicked the couch.

"You love that couch!" I yelled at him.

"Hey! Hey! I have a hangover the size of a cow, but yes. I do love this couch". He plopped himself onto the couch and rested his head on the arm of it.

I grabbed the two freshly brewed coffees and handed AJ one. Then brushed his feet off, so I could sit.

"What's the agenda for today?" AJ asked, then took a sip of his coffee.

"Well, it's," I looked at the clock. "1 pm right now, so I say we get a late lunch and then tonight movie marathon".

"Sound good to me," he smiled and held his mug to me. I clicked mine against his then sipped.

"I'll be back in ten, after I get some clothes and takes few Advils," he sat up with the mug in his hand.

"Bring back my mug!" I shouted as he walked to the door. He shook his head and flipped me off behind him, without looking back. "Love you!" I shouted with a giggle.

"Love you too!" He chuckled as he exited.

I pulled out my laptop that was on the coffee table and began to look through my emails.

"Oh shit," I whispered. I began to look at emails from my sister to see that the wedding is just around the corner. Only one week! Both my parents emailed me asking about the guy I've been seeing, but what they don't know is that he doesn't exists. After a failed engagement, my parents have been thinking of me as a failure. So after I told them about a fantasy guy, they think I'm back to being the perfect daughter.

I shut the laptop trying to forget about it, then rushed upstairs to change.

I ran down the stairs to find AJ on his phone lying down on the couch.

"One day I'm going to regret giving you a key," I said walking by him.

"Is that the day you finally bring home a guy?" He chuckled.

"I will hit you," I threatened him and he smiled.

We walked through west LA to our favorite brunch place. We sat down at a table outside, we always enjoyed people watching.
