It's going to be adorable to people who know the plotline. By the way, Daniel, Dennis, and Caden are not really important in this story so they won't really be mentioned. I also figured out for that each chapter title, I'm going to try to put the title as words in the story. And I just wanted to call out to my fellow bro/friend Daniel!!! It's okay Daniel that you got rejected too!!!! Remember to vever give up!!!!!!

Rejection Hurts

Mark's P.O.V.

Stephen and I discussed the plan at lunch. I was going to ask Lennox on a date, use her, then dump. It was the usual player code. The only problem that I would have would be her rejecting me, but that won't really be a problem. My charms are too good for her to pass up. I decided to play the part of a guy who wanted to date her ever since she came but his best-friend liked her so he backed off. After getting a worthless detention for not paying attention in class and being sent to the principal's office for yelling at the teacher, I finally finished school and got ready to play the part. I looked around and saw Lennox and Melanie sitting and talking under the big oak tree. They seemed to be looking around waiting for someone. I went up to them and said,

"Hey Lennox, can I talk to you for a second?"

"Sure," she said in this really light voice which seemed to bring out this emotion from me I couldn't tell. While I was realizing this I found her just waiting for me to speak right in front of Melanie too.

"Um, privately actually."

"Fine," she said sighing while getting up and brushing off her skirt from the dirt. 

After we got a safe distance away from Melanie she asked,

"Is this about Stephen?"

"Actually no it isn't," I replied.

"Then what is it?" she asked impatiently. "I have to get back. I have a lot of homework."

"Your homework can wait," I said smirking. "I wanted to ask something."

"Then ask away."

"Will you go out with me?" I blurted congratulating myself for playing the part so well. That's what you get for being the lead role in every single play and musical at our school.

"Are you serious?" she asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yes?" I answered.

"No! Are you kidding me? Do you think I'm a slag?" she said blowing up causing everyone to look here at her big scene she caused which also included Melanie, Lauren, and Stephen to look too. "I would never go out with you! You're just a player who wants to get into my pants! Just because I dated Stephen doesn't mean we're friends! I'm  not going to date you! Ever! You are the most disgusting guy I have ever met! Get away from me! Even better! Don't even try talking to me ever again!" she yelled leaving me speechless. She dragged Melanie and Lauren into her car then told her chauffuer to drive off and they did, leaving a trail of dust behind.

Everyone started whispering about the rejection I got. I got so fed up by being embarrased by a girl, but not only that, the new girl too, so I screamed,
