Ella's P.O.V
You would think almost two years after the previous events I would be friends with Jack. Not exactly the case. In fact, I haven't talked to him since that night. Oh and Sammy and I were engaged. Natasha is expecting number two in five months, Ceilia and Johnson got married almost a year ago, suprisingly, Matt and Stassie started dating soon after Sammy and Stass broke up. Madison had boyfriends come and go but mostly focused on music. For Jack, he and Amarie broke up three months ago and Jack began to sleep with whomever he wanted. Not that I care.
"You ready to go babe?" Sammy snapped me out of my thoughts. I nodded. I straightened my dress and got up, flashing a small smile. "Are you sure you're ready to talk to Jack?" Sammy asked as we got in the car. "It's just one interview, I'll be alright" I shrugged. Jack and I were both in the running to be a lead role in a new movie, 'Under The Moon'. And being that fans still constantly were tweeting about missing "#jella" the producers figured this would get them riled up for the movie.
I sighed loudly as I hopped out of the car and into the building where the interview was being held. Sammy chuckled and grabbed my hand. "Ella! Alright, you can go sit over on that couch with Jack." My agent, Sierra Hall, motioned over to a long couch where Jack sat on his phone. I nodded and turned to Sammy. "Good luck" He smiled a little and kissed my forehead. "Ugh, I need it" I sighed and chuckled. I made my way up the platform and sat on the other end of the couch. Jack occasionaly would glance up at me.
"Jack, Ella, hi!" Our interviewer, Kaylee greeted. I smiled and looked up. "Ella can you scoot in a bit, so you're in the frame?" She pointed right next to Jack and he smirked and leaned back. I mentally huffed and sat down next to him. "Well, goodmorning princess" Jack whispered to me. "Hows- what's your latest girls name?" I scoffed. "Jessica? Shes in London" He shrugged. I rolled my eyes. My hatred for Gilinsky has only grown stronger over the years but for some reason when he said princess I still got chills.
"Okay, we're live in 5..4..3..2..1.. rolling" A man yelled from behind the camera as Jack sat up and Kaylee sat with her legs crossed. "Hello, and welcome back to News In HollyWood, today we have the possible stars of 'Under The Moon' with us! Jack and Ella!" Kaylee said, hyperenthusiascially. We smiled and fake live audience claps errupted. She asked us a series of questions about the movie and our possible characters. Then, like a bus, she hit me with the "So, after the break up, have you two remained friends?" I almost laughed. Jack looked to me for the awnser. "Um- we're civil?" I kind of laughed. "Do you guys regret dating?" Kaylee's eyebrows scrunched a bit and she tilted her head. "Oh god no, not at all" Jack jumped in. "'Explain?" Kaylee added.
"She- she really helped me grow as a person. I'd probaby never have my career without her" He glanced at me. I scoffed. "Or Amarie" I mumbled under my breath. "What was that?" Kaylee pushed. "I agree." I composed myself. "We worked well off eachother" I said politely. Jack nodded. "This might be crossing the line but, would you ever consider getting back together?" She glanced between us. I literally choked. "Mh-" I patted my chest like it was a cough. "I would" Jack looked over at me, awaiting a response. "I'm engaged to a man who treats me right, which is all I can ask." I smiled and glanced from Kaylee to Sammy.
"So no?" She chuckled. "Definitley not" I cross my legs. "Well- thank you guys for coming and thank you all for watching. Till next time" Kaylee plastered a fake smile. "And cut" The camera guy yelled and I jumped out of my seat and into the bathroom. I glanced at myself in the mirror and breathed in. "If I get this part.. and he does too- I'll always be around him how will I-" I groaned. I walked out to find Sammy and of course was greeted by slamming into Jack's chest. "Gilinsky" I murmered and tried to go around. "We will most likely be around eachother a lot, so maybe we can work on more than civil." He whispered in my ear. My knees went weak and I held my breath. "I- I gotta find Sam" I stuttered and ran off.
I could hear him chuckle. I rolled my eyes and found Sammy. "That was-" he started. "Terrible. Literal hell" I finished. He nodded. "Did you- uh mean that thing about never wanting to get back with Jack?" He asked as we got into his car. "Of course. Who would want to lose this?" I smiled at him and he pecked my lips. Well, things do change quickly.
