Chapter 5

It took a lot longer than I thought the walk home would be, however time seem to have past me right by. Just minutes later we were finally on my road because I could see my house from up the road. When I was right on the doorstep of my house Anthony asked me if I wanted to come into town with everyone to go to the mall and just show me around with all that stuff as well. Right after everyone agreed so I had no other choice, so I walked into my house bringing the three of them into my house to see piles of boxes everywhere.

My mom and dad both pop out of the dinning room with piles and piles of paper in their hands, when my mom saw me she says "lauren, honey can you come here and bring the work papers on the table over there" with a voice that is followed by my dad saying "no I moved them down to the basement." So when my friends pop out from the living room my mom starts dropping everything and starts hugging everyone just saying in a playful voice "so you are Lauren's friends, nice to meet you." Running down the stairs to the basement grabbing the papers I rush back up the stairs just to make sure my mom didn't embarrass me enough.

Screaming "here mom, oh and can I go into town with my friends and they can show me around" with a sweet little girl voice and bug puppy dog eyes that work like magic. All my mom does is get some money and says "sure but be careful and call me when your leaving" dropping my backpack on the floor I head for the door "thanks mom love you" I say before closing the door shut with my phone and money in my jacket pocket. "You ready to go shopping in London Lauren" Says El in an exited voice. Just as Anthony says "yea well don't get to exited we need to drop our stuff off first and then show Lauren everything too."
