Lena's POV
"WAIT UP LENA!!"
Martha was running as fast as her little legs would carry her so she could catch up to Me.
Me and Martha got along so well.
We never left each other's sides.
I'm 6 and my sister is 2.
Most people call us L & M.
We have matching sister bracelets.
Her bracelet has me on it and hers has me on it.
Mom would take us to the park everyday after school until one day things started changing.
On the news they talked about strangers and kidnappers in the state of Colorado.
A little boy named James was taken at the park about 30 mins from where we live.
He had been gone for a while now they said to keep a good eye on all children.
Once Martha heard about this she didn't want to leave the house.
I got scared too.
So did mom and dad.
"Lena do you tink dat will happen to us?"
She wasn't good at saying her words the right way but she will understand some day.
"I didn't think it will ever happen. I won't let it happen to you!"
Martha smiled and laid next to me as we watched a movie.
We then heard a knock at the door.
Dad walked to the door.
Me and Martha got up and peeked around the corner.
"Hi may I help you?"
The man stood there he saw us and smiled.
Then he walked away.
Me and Martha laughed it was funny.
When Martha started going to school again things got better.
She said that the man showed up at her school.
She told mom and dad and they weren't so happy.
She was takin out of Ville play school and sent to a safer play school.
Me and Martha started going to the park again.
On our 5th day back at the park we saw the man in a black hoodie.
We got scared.
Mom went to talk to a friend when he started walking towards us.
