Chapter 11
Aiden~
I wake up. The light is too bright. I squint. Eventually my eyes adjust and I see and smell many dead people. It hurts to move. I feel like crap. KRISTI! I think. I promised I'd always protect her. Then I hear someone. Two people. I fell like a pile of jelly now. Then, I recognize her voice. It's Kristi! I try to say something to her but my lips are swollen and won't move. Suddenly I am lifted in the air onto Luke's back. I pass out again.
