Running a hand through his messy brown hair, the small man stood and braced himself.
He opened the door, met by the outstretched hand of a tall, blue and grey haired man, skin tanned just more than olive but less than a proper tan. A man he recognised as Abott stood a few steps behind, raising an eyebrow at his expression.
"O'Malley, sir." Grinned the new arrival, taking his hand and shaking it. He stepped back, looking up sternly to the man, "uh, Sa- I mean it's Dennis, but Sir is fine," He cleared his throat, receiving a raised eyebrow from his colleague Abott before he returned to his office.
"Sam, huh?" He turned, nose wrinkling as O'Malley leant against the wall, "no, it's Sir." O'Malley chuckled, crossing his arms, "funny, thought you were gonna say Sam. It's a cute name, what a shame it's not yours, Sir."
He huffed, arms by his side and hands clenched into fists, "well, good day." He grumbled, turning towards his door. He stopped before he could leave as the voice of his colleague sounded from his office, "Oh no, Dennis. He's yours now."
He whipped around, further squeezing his fists, "Who? MINE? No way, he must be Shepherd's or something! I can't deal with this, this mess!"
Abott gave him a stern glare, turning two fingers towards his eyes and then towards Sam's, slamming his door.
"Not very nice, this mess does have experience y'know, Sam." grinned his new partner, still leaning with one foot against the wall.
Sam grumbled, pulling the cuffs of his sleeves down and opening his office door, "in, now."
