Hakuba and Heiji wished they could die right now because they made the biggest mistake of their lives.' We were only joking around and didn't believe he'd hear us... forget that he even accepted it. Oh dear kami-sama please save us or help us with what we're about to do' Hakuba thought as he, Heiji, and Nakamori-keibu stood outside the Mouri Detective Agency.

Finally they were let in with an eager girl and a amused Mouri. " It's KID-sama he is actually planning on stealing our gem without a challenge. KAA" Sonoko yelled fangirling while Hakuba and Heiji calmed her down to talk before Conan got home making her stop in confusion. "Umm Nee-chan don't fret but ye see there's a heist tomorrow an ... well Ku-C-Conan-kun has to stay away or .... something might happen.." Heiji said voice getting quieter as he finished, cowering behind Kazuha.

" Hattori-san what do you mean Conan-kun can't go Sonoko made him promise to go this morning. What 's going on ... your hiding something from me what is IT!" Ran said cracking her knuckles causing the men to flinch. They explained the situation to her as quickly as possible while making sure to keep her calm and not get any injuries. Right when they finished explaining Conan-kun came home to see the group. " I'm home, Ran-neechan why is the inspector here with Hakuba-neesan is it about the heist tomorrow night?" Conan asked curiously, looking over the people in the room.

Ran crouched down to look Conan in eyes before saying," Conan-kun I know you really like going to KID heist, but you can't go to this time. Sonoko even said it was alright if you couldn't go, so can you stay home and not go to the KID heist?" She waited for him to start arguing but he stayed quiet confusing her.

" But Ran-neechan I have to go to the heist because I promised KID I'd be there." Conan replied and everyone in the room paled while the two detetives thought 'He is really determined to win this challenge' causing them to sweatdrop.

Time Skip

It is now the day of the heist and everybody agreed that Conan should be put to sleep before the heist to prevent the thief from trying anything. They got to the place where the heist was taking place really early so that they had time to prepare for the heist. Suzuki-san invited them to have dinner and after an hour the sleeping pills started working causing Conan to start yawning. " Conan-kun why don't you take a nap and rest up before the heist. It'll be a few hours before the heist starts and its starting to get dark too. The others still need to set up some things for the heist so go take a nap." Ran said softly to the boy, looking sweetly at him before picking him up and carrying him into a room.

A maid came in saying she'd tuck him in and Ran watched as she changed Conan into some shorts before tucking him into the bed. Before leaving Ran asked," Ne why did you change him into shorts?" The maid said she thought he would be more comfortable with them on and left to do something else.

It had only been an hour after Conan fell asleep and Hattori was trying to figure out what the rest of the heist notice said with Hakuba. Soon they ended up in Conan's room to get his help a guard was with him the poor guy looked like he just got checked by the Inspector. They woke Conan up and as he was looking around the room before focusing on them. Conan noticed the paper in their hands and held out his and they placed it in his palm. The moment the paper was in his hand he felt something was off when he kept touching the notice.

'KID must have used some kind of paper to cover the notice' Conan thought as he tried to figure out what to do. "We've tried multiple things to get the paper off but nothing is working" Hakuba said glumly and watched Conan look quizzically at the notice before looking at them. " Have you tried saliva? If he used the paper used to seal envelopes then saliva would work." Conan explained but before any of the detectives could get the notice Conan trailed his tongue across the notice. The detectives started turning pink as dirty thoughts started going through there minds and they turned away.
