(J’S POV)

Jayy, Dahvie and I were on our way to the BVB tent to visit Blake.  We haven’t seen her in about two months, and those two months were boring and lonely.  The house was too quiet without her there.  We were a few yards away when I felt Jay tap my shoulder.  He pointed over to where the BVB tent was.  We started walking in that direction.

I finally saw Blake when we were near the end of the line.  She was wearing the outfit Meri showed me before she sent it off with Ash.

Blake turned away from the girls she was talking to and fell.  I watched Blade catch her and they looked at each other for a moment.  It reminded me of one of the pictures in the BVB house.  The picture was of Carter sitting in Ashley’s lap.  They weren’t doing anything but staring into each other’s eyes.  Someone had edited the picture so that the only color was their eyes, which made the icy blue and leaf green pop.

I sighed.  We all could guess that this would happen.

We watched, frozen, as Blade and Blake tentatively kissed.  After a few seconds, Blake broke away and ran.  I ran after her as instinct and Dahvie trailed behind me.  I saw Jayy walk over to Blade from the corner of my eye.

We reached the OM&M bus, breathing heavily, and opened the door.  I walked down to the bunk area and knocked on the wood next to Blake’s bunk.  I heard a slight snort and knew she was asleep.  She made noises and sometimes spoke when she slept.  Dahvie soon joined me and we stood there, contemplating on whether to wake her or not.

I sighed as I gently opened the curtain.  She was still dressed in her concert attire and her war paint was smudged.  She had Carter’s iPod in her hands and ear buds in, too.  I gently shook her arm and her eyes snapped open.

“Dad? What?” she asked groggily.

“Hey, Princess,” I whispered as she pulled out the ear buds and threw the iPod to the side.

“What? Wait, we’re home, right?” she asked, rubbing her eyes and smearing her makeup even more.

“Yeah. Are you okay?” Dahvie asks.

“Did you?” I nodded and she sighed.

“Why’d you run?” Dahv asked.

“I-I- you know what? I honestly don’t know.  It was instinct, I guess.  I mean, it’s not like I don’t like him or anything.  In fact, I think I like him a bit too much,” she admitted. I nodded.

“Shit!” she suddenly exclaimed.  Dahvie and I looked at her with questioning glances.  “I was supposed to go to the Of Mice & Men set tonight, I promised Austin,” she explained.  “Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.”

“Ill text him, don’t worry.  You get changed and go to bed.  I will see you in a few months,” I said as I hugged her.

“Bye, Daddy.  Love you,” she said as she hugged me.  She then walked over to Dahive and hugged him. “Tell Jayy I say love you and kiss his cheek, please!” she shouted as she walked to the bunk area.

I shrugged and we excited the bus, walking back to the BVB tent after I texted Austin.  I saw Jayy standing there, looking extremely pissed.  Andy and Blade were also missing.

Dahvie collected Jayy and we walked back to the car, driving back home for another uneventful two months.
