chapter 10 Vision

Flying on my way home was not a bad ride, except for once we passed a forest i didn't remember being there before where a couple drunk guys with guns were hunting ducks and mistook me for one. once i made my way into town i quickly jumped to the back of my house in the small square lot known as my backyard. after i saw no one around i made my way to the front door on the other side of the house and walked through the door. i made my way upstairs to see if anything changed while i was gone and noticed two figures already sitting on my bed, which was way too small for them. "you sleep on this?" Apollo asked jumping his bottom up and down. "you sleep?" i asked sarcastically. Apollo gave me a mean look and then saw Luna's mean look towards him and he backed off. "well? what do we do now?" Apollo asked. "i don't know?" i said unable to think of anything. my head started hurting a little bit and then the headache started getting much more intense than it had ever been. i was screaming worrying the two siblings who were looking at each other in worry. Wix came out of my pocket and stopped the two before they did anything. "don't stop it. Jake's getting something." Wix said. "what is he getting?" Apollo asked. "don't know yet, sometimes it's memories, or visions, or just showing him something important." Wix said. "memories?" Luna asked. "yes, things he has forgotten." Wix said sounding like she was mourning my death or something. "what did he forget?" Apollo asked. Wix avoided the question with silence after choking on her words. Wix looked at me as i screamed in more pain. the pain never stopped it felt like my mind was being ripped in two and then uploaded into a computer. a day dream of some kind occurred, and i was watching Jessica who was now bloody and sweaty and tied up in shackles and hanging from the ceiling. Jessica looked tired and out of energy at the moment. Another guard dressed in a secret service getup walked into the room with a knife and began talking to Jessica. "pleasure to meet you Jessica. i just ran into you're boyfriend a little while ago. oh, right, let me introduce myself i'm L-U-C-I-F-E-R. although you're boyfriend may not recognize me the next time i see him." the guard said. i focused as much as i could in the dark lighting on the guards face. the guard looked a lot like the boy i'd met a New York, except the guard looked around 25, but he still had the same green eyes. Jessica made silent swooshing in her mouth real quickly then spit right at Lucifer who did not look very pleased. "well, didn't he pick quite the forceful woman." Lucifer said wiping the spit from his face. "go back to hell." Jessica yelled trying to break free from her chains. Lucifer started laughing at the empty threat and then said "you foolish girl can't harm me in the slightest, although i'd be careful i do have the power to kill you on the spot." i wanted to jump in the way and punch Lucifer as hard as i could right now after what he did to me at NYC, but i couldn't move my body. Lucifer turned his head toward me with his eyes opening wide in surprise. "well, speak of the devil, oh wait that's me!" Lucifer said laughing at his own joke. "looks like Jake decided to pay us a visit." Jessica looked at Lucifer confused and then turned toward where Lucifer's gaze was and suddenly realized what he was talking about somehow. Jessica mouthed the words "Underground!" i didn't really think much of it, but now that she said it well sort of the prison was underground. in fact the entire room looked like it was in a cave system of some kind. i tried to move around a bit, but i was still restricted to only leaning forward a bit and peered out to a cave tunnel that seemed to leading to some sort of red light beaming from within that area. i turned toward Jessica who now seemed lifeless as Lucifer looked at her broken body thinking that he'd worn her down enough already and leaving. Jessica quickly sprang back to life full of even more energy than before and flipping her flexible body upside down. Jessica's feet started meddling with her shackles keyhole with something that was make a clicking sound as she twisted her toes around. eventually Jessica dropped to the ground and got up and dusted her clothes off. she winked at where i was and then ran down the cave tunnel beaming with red light. i watched helplessly as she ran towards the cave tunnel beaming with red light. the day dream or vision thing ended and i was on the floor passed out on my bed. Luna was hovering over me worried. Luna started blushing for some reason and then backed away. i got up with a small migraine in the back of my head and checked my surroundings. Apollo was sitting on the floor up against the wall in front of my bed. "hey, he's up." Apollo said surprised and cheerful. "how long was i out?" i asked Luna. "are you gonna ignore me?" Apollo asked annoyed. "you were out for quite some time an hour i think?" Luna answered. i told them everything about the visions and dreams about Jessica's kidnapping and wondered what they thought about it. "well, visions aren't normally random in selection. this Jessica person must be important somehow." Apollo said trying to make sense of this. "true, but that doesn't explain how she's important. mortals don't normally play a role in war like ours. their normally too busy with their own." Luna said. "where do you think she could be?" i asked. "you know where." Apollo said cryptically. he was right, although i didn't want to admit it, but somehow somewhere inside me knew, she was literally at the entrance towards Hell.
