Dear Diary,

      Oh I'm so frightened! I haven't seen Lilly since yesterday afternoon and I can't help but be worried! What if something terrible happened to her and she's dead in an alley or even worse... She was victim to an attack! I'll bet it was those French. You can never trust those French. Especially the men! Oh it makes me feel terrible talking ill about others but I'm so worried. I hope she hasn't done anything horrendous like publicly announcing to the world that she's a Suffragette! Her and her friends are always talking about women's rights! I've been crying all night and I just can't seem to sleep! Hopefully she's gets back before Aunt Brank realizes she's gone AWOL!
