All I wanted to do was worry about what outfit to where to the art museum. But, no, my life was just full of misfortunes as of lately.

Right now, I'm on my laptop reading the eviction notice my landlord emailed me this morning.

Apparently, my rent is back due and I have 30 days to either find a way to pay $1,118 or find a new place to live.

I massaged my temples slowly with my index and middle fingers trying to figure out a plan.

I definitely cannot tell my parents about this. They would think I'm too irresponsible to be living on my own, not that they'd be wrong. I wanted to leave home so badly and be independent I didn't consider all of the elements that came with this much responsibility.

I groaned loudly becoming more and more frustrated. I slapped my cheeks lightly to stimulate some type of idea.

"Okay you've got this Bella. You just need to find a roommate and you'll be fine." I said giving myself a little pep talk.

I wasn't going to take the easy route out on this. My parents could have easily paid the bill if I had asked them for the money. They owned a large gaming company, not as big as Sony or Microsoft but they had enough to be on the top 100 richest people list.

I don't really talk about my parents to many people besides Emma. I know they'd treat me differently if they knew I came from a wealthy family. Emma only knows because our parents have been best friends since before we were born. So, I assume it was only natural for their children to be best friends as well.

A text popped up on my MacBook screen,

From Dumbass 'Buongiorno Bella'

I sighed before replying 'Not today.'

I had too many things on my mind to be thinking about this green-eyed devil.

From Dumbass: 'What's wrong mia regina?'

I ignored his last message, I barely knew the guy I couldn't just tell him my whole life story.

I closed my laptop and set it on the desk in the corner of my room. I picked up my phone off my night stand and made my way to the bathroom.

I needed a nice relaxing shower to melt away this anxiety. I turn the nob of shower all the way to left. I wanted the water to be as hot as possible, something about hot showers always seemed to sooth my worries.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror before it completely fogged over.

I undressed tossing my clothes into my dirty clothes hamper. I placed my foot in the shower first making sure the temperature was just right before stepping all the way in.

I faced the water, closing my eyes as it ran down my face to tops of my feet. After staying like this for a while I turned around, tilting my head back letting the water cascade down the ends of my hair and down the backs of my legs.

I grabbed my 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner bottle, squeezing a baseball sized amount into the palm of my hand. I rubbed my hands together before lathering it into my hair. I kept my eyes closed to ensure no soap would get into them.

My phone started to ring so I rinsed my hands off before reaching down to feel for my its location. My fingers danced around the edge of the tub finally picking up my phone and answering it.

"Hello?" I said, not knowing who was on the other end.

"Why didn't you reply to any of my texts? I was about to call the police." He said angrily.
