Chapter Four: Busted

"So how was your little conversation with Mr. Smith." Clarity asked, nudging me a little. I rolled my eyes and replied, "Well, Nile tried to screw me up again." "Really?? Can't he just move on." She groaned, I nodded in agreement. "But anyway, i'm going to visit Mr. Smith after school." I looked at her. "You guys are so cute." She smiled, while munching on her sandwich. "Yeah..." I mumbled before opening my lunch box and grabbing out an apple. "Is everything okay?" She looked at me, worried. "I'm just a little scared...what if the school finds out? Mr. Smith will loose his job...and it'll be my fault." I placed my hand onto my forehead and sighed. "Hey, dont worry about that right now, you're 18 and hes probably...in his late 20's so thats not to much of an age gap." She nudged me, "I guess..you're right." I smiled slightly. I went to take a bite out of my apple, then suddenly the school speakers turned on.

Can Levi Ackerman from class 12s make his way over to the principals office.

I looked at clarity quickly before standing up and running to the principals office. I stopped before walking inside to be met by the Principal, Mr. Smith and Nile sitting down. I knew this wasnt good, i quickly closed the door and sat down in a spare seat. "You...um.. wanted to see me, principal?" I stuttered, looking over at Mr. Smith who looked worried. "Nile here showed me a video today, of you and Mr. Smith, apparently you have been having affairs with him. Ackerman, you know its illegal right?" She looked at me, i twiddled my thumbs and mumbled a "yes". "Is there anything you would like to confess or talk about?" She questioned, sitting down in her chair. I had so many thoughts going through my head, what was i going to do. "Uhhh..well-" I paused, i knew exactly what to do. "It was a setup, me and nile dont really like Mr. Smith so we...tried to set him up! It was our fault, i felt guilty after a while though." I explained. I could see erwins face full with confusion, I wasnt really sure if he was actually believing this or knew that its a trick. "What?! Thats not true! Hell yeah i hate Mr. Smith but i'm setting him up on my own-" nile stopped and realised what he just said. "I see, thank you nile and levi. Two detentions for both of you, i'm also reporting this to your guardians." I sighed in relief, "my apologises for dragging you into this, Mr. Smith. You may leave." Erwin nodded. "Its fine, good day Mrs. Willington." He smiled slightly and walked out.

2:39pm
So the principal made us stay in from the rest of lunch, so i was practically starving. It was the last period, we had maths with Mr. Smith. I was really starting to worry if he thought i was part of the setup, he wasnt looking or interacting with me like he used to. I tapped my pen against my desk because thats what i do when i'm thinking. "Levi, you realize that tapping is very loud and irritating." Came a voice, i knew it was Erwin. He didnt sound happy at all, "sorry... Mr. Smith." I mumbled, slouching down into my seat and wanting to hide. He returned to writing whatever he was writing on the board, i  didnt play attention of course. Maybe if i got him something he wont be mad? Ugh...what if he wasnt even mad though and i had mistaken, that would be humiliating.

3:00pm
Ring Ring Ring!
The bell rang,  i quickly ran out before Mr. Smith could notice. I ran outside, trying to find clarity. "You look like you've seen a ghost." Stated a voice, i turned around to see it was clarity. "I need your help, do you know what erwi- Mr. Smiths favourite flower is?" I asked, she shook her head. "Theres a really nice flower shop in town, you can catch the third bus there." I nodded and ran off, yelling a "thank you." Before hoping on the third bus. I sat down in a seat and stared out the window for the whole trip, till the bus stopped for the town. I jumped of and ran around quickly looking for the shop.
Bring bring, bring bring.
I heard my phone ringing, i quickly picked it up to see it was erwin. I took a deep breath before answering it.
"Um..hey erwin.."
"Levi, where the hell are you?!
"Huh.. ?.....I'm in town."
"Why are you in town, i thought you were coming to my place."
"Well....i..thought you were mad at me so-"
"Mad? Why would i be- oh, right. About the afternoon I wasnt angry with you, more just nile and whole situation, i'm sorry if i gave you the impression i was mad. Do you want me to come pick you up?"
"O-oh i see, you dont need to be sorry and yes...that would be nice."
"Okay then, i'll be there in 10 minutes. See you.....love you."
Before i could say anything back he hung up. "I..love you too." I mumbled to myself. I decided to sit on a near by wall and wait.

(Chapters are probably going to be alot shorter now, just because i prefer to write shorter chapters. I'll update as soon as possible. Also i do apologize if there are any mistakes, i do re-read it a couple of times but my brain still sometimes wont pick up mistakes. Thanks..❤️)
