Today was the first day of high-school Layla had just walked into the class she missed a whole month of school she was to busy in Bora-Bora with her now single mother Layla walked in with her Nike Jordan IV that had just came out Mrs.Farell looked at her with a surprised face "You must be Layla she said " Layla looked at her and said thats me she took her seat in the back Layla turned around looked at me And said "Damn!!!! Daniel you dont hit me up over summer now " I laughed and shushed her before Mrs.Farell gave us a detention the bell rung and It was time for lunch.

Me and Layla had been Close friends since we where in the 1st grade we had been through Bullies and All the other problems junior high had to offer We where at lunch and talking about our summer Layla had gone to Bora Bora for a family vacation it wasnt much a vacation since Laylas father had just passed away from cancer he was everything to her and Layla went to him for everything. "OMG WHO IS THAT LIKE DAMNN" I looked up and saw Layla looking at D'Andre he was knew and he was straight from Atlanta he had some kinda southern accent,Layla turned around and asked who he was " He aint nobody special he just came here this year. Jenna-B came to the lunch table she was put into honors classes she was a smart girl although she hated being in honors she wanted to be with her friends we wasnt stupid or nothing we just ain't care a lot about school we just cared about Going out together and having fun before we to old and our lifes already pass us.

Jenna-B Was D'Andres ex thats what started it all Jenna-B sat down and D'Andre and his friends passed right by "Damn D'Andre you dont say hi or nothing " said Jenna-B D'Andre looked at her then when to our table and kissed Jenna-B it wasnt nothing big or nothing but it got Layla in her feelings Jenna-B was suppose to be her best friend but still Layla was gone for a month thats enough time to fall in love although through out August D'Andre and Jenna-B probably broke up 2 times they where probably gonna get back together thats just how the worked.Ringgggg!!!!!!! The bell rung and we had one last period we all decided to meet up at Sabal after class thats where everyone went to hang out, Me and Layla where put into all the same classes Layla looked at me and said"When did Jenna-B get so close to him didn't you say its his first year here and how come they kissed at lunch" I told Layla everything that happened between the two of them in that long ass 31 days she had mixed feelings about it her best friend dating the boy she already wanna date and D'Andre kissing his ex school ended and we where out to Sabal.

We all talked and got to catch up on everything Then D'Andre came in he sat right at our booth Layla said " D'Andre why did u decide to move all the way from Atlanta to here" He said "My dad was drinker and he hit my mom one night he cracked to of her ribs and the next morning me and my grandma packed me and my mom stuff and we went to my grandmas house and that was it".Layla looked up and whispered in my ear "I dont wanna be a how but i will fuck this boy if he gets any cuter" I had no answer for that D'Andre looked at Layla and they both blushed Jenna-B looked at both of them took up her stuff then walked out saying she had homework we all knew she was upset. We all left Sabal I live right next to Layla It was weird Having D'Andre with us but when we got to the steps of Layla's House D'Andre kissed her and said I wanna put down Jenna-B wasso schocked she ran in the house and shut the door D'Andre had already left.
