Harry's POV
----------------------
It was a few months into my sixth year here at Hogwarts. I just saw my best friend's sister, Ginny, at Hogsmeade. Ron, Hermione, and I walked into The Three Broomsticks. We were sitting down for quite awhile when I glanced over towards the fireplace and saw Dean and Ginny kissing. I couldn't believe it , to be honest. I didn't even know they were dating.
"Hey Ron, did you know that Ginny was dating Dean Thomas?" I said whispering to Ron.
"Yeah, she told me a few weeks ago after I caught them snogging in the Gryffindor's common room."
"Wait, she's dating Dean? THE... Dean Thomas?" Hermione jumped in and gave us all a fright.
"Yes, smart one." Ron said as a smart-butt comment.
"Oh, guess she never told me about that one." I said with a frown.
"Why were you wondering, Harry?" Ron asked me sighing. I nodded my head towards the fireplace , Ron and Hermione turned around.
"Bloody Hell. When I said I caught them snogging, I didn't mean it was this intense!" He said with a shout, which surprised us all.
I couldn't stand to watch it anymore. I got up and left the room. I couldn't. I just couldn't. I guess you could say ever since I was a young lad, I've always had a thing for Ginny. But, I never thought I would get this jealous over seeing her with someone else, especially Dean Thomas. I never realized my true feelings, until now.
Ginny's POV
--------------------
I saw Harry get up and leave the shop. He was staring at me quite a bit. I don't know what I did wrong. I've liked Harry all my life. I just thought I could never have him. I mean, why would he want someone younger than himself? And on top of that, he was stuck on Cho Chang. I could never, ever get someone like the famous, Harry Potter. But, with all the feelings I would forever have for him, I went up to see what was wrong with him.
"I'm sorry. I have to go." I told Dean as I picked up my coat and ran out of the room.
"Harry! Harry! Don't ignore me! Harry, come here!" I shouted towards hims as I ran after him, still.
"What do you want Ginny!" He shouted back angrily and stopped running. He genuinely scared me because he shouted so loud.
"Why'd you r-run out like that? I mean, are you m-mad or something? What did I do? Is it b-because of what I'm w-wearing, or my h-hair?" I said stuttering the whole way through. I couldn't help but be nervous.
"GINNY IT'S NOT YOU! IT'S NOT YOUR HAIR, OR YOU CLOTHES! Although, you do look really nice today. BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT! YOU JUST DON'T GET IT DON'T YOU?" He said as he broke out into tears. All I could do is have a frightened look on my face.
I ran off crying, not because I was mad at him. Because I knew it was me. I knew that he ran out of that shop, because of me. No matter what he said, I knew deep down what he was really thinking. I know him better than he thinks I know him. And despite whatever he was feeling, I was going to be there to help. I just don't exactly know how to help him yet. But, I made a promise for myself, that I would indeed help Harry Potter. No matter the injuries, struggles, or battles it took, I would find a way.
