So.. Hi. I'm Jade. I'm the only girl out of 12 kids. Yeah, wow. I like to eat cake so of corse I have diabetes. My mom said she doesn't care but she does. She died yesterday so I'm writing about how my life is without her. Let's get to it!!

"Hey dad", I said. "Hey. Are u felling good?" "Yeah I'm just still depressed". If you don't know why I'm sad it's because my mom died yesterday. It was so sad. She was driving and this guy was kissing his girlfriend and driving and he hit my mom car. I was in there bit I didn't die but I'm in a wheelchair. My mom hade brain damage and it messed up her brain. When she tried to speak she fell and she hade... died right on my feet. I was very sad. Now it's just me my brothers and sisters and my dad.
"Bye dad. I'm off to school". "Be good and don't tell". I went to the bus stop and waited for my friend Kate. "Hey Jade. Are u ready for 8th grade?!?" "Yeah a little." "What's wrong?" "nothing" But she knew it was something. We got on the bus and then I fell asleep.

I get to school and everyone stares at me. They ask "why are you in a wheelchair? What happened?" I get used to it after a while but people will always be curious. I rolled to my first period. Then I got stopped by this guy who must be new to the school because he was looking confused. "Are you lost" ,i say. "Yes. Where is room 124" , he asked. I pointed to the door in front of me. "Thank you" ,he said. I just walk past and went to the front of the class where I always sit. "Welcome back everyone. How was winter break" ,my teacher asked. "Jade would u like to share?" "No thanks. I didn't do anything but hurt my legs" ,I said. "How did u hurt yourself?" "I don't want to talk about it" ,I said. "Anyone wanna share" ,my teacher asked. A whole bunch of hands went up. People started to shout out "I went out of town" and stuff like that. I just sat there. My teacher is a nice lady but she can be strict at times. She can tell when someone is sad or disappointed. And she can tell I was sad.
Time passed and it was time to go to Second period. I hated that class. It was science. My teacher name was Mrs.Spivey. She was a new teacher so she didn't know our routine. So when we tried explaining what we do in this class, she started yelling and telling people to go on the wall. I was like "WTF??" Then I raised my hand and said, "Um, lady. We are not 1st graders. U don't put 8th graders on the wall. Have u taught 8th grade before?" Then she told me to go on the wall. I said no. Then she told me to call my mom. I said no. Then she said "did u just say no?" I was going to say that my mom died but then I said "yes. Any more questions?" Then she ignored me and went on with class. A few minutes passed. I had to use the restroom. I raised my hand for 5 minutes to go to the restroom. She didn't look at me. So I rolled out. Then when I came back she told me to call my mom for skipping class. I told her "I didn't skip class. U didn't let me go to the restroom so I rolled out to go". Then she told me to go to mrs.Henderson class. I said "for what? I did nothing wrong. U have problems". Then she told me to go or I will have to call my mom. Then I said "listen lady. I don't know who u used to teach but u can't keep calling people parents just because they did something. U must like to get kids in trouble. Well guess what lady, u can't get me in trouble. I will sit right here in my wheelchair until class is over. You got me?" Then kids started to gasp. Then the teacher told a story about a girl. Then I was like "this has nothing to do science." Then she said "little bitch! Stfu cause I'm telling a story. Now shut up so I can speak!" then I walked out and told the principal what she said. I taped it. Then the teacher fired her. Everyone was very happy!
