I had everything you could want in life. I had a loving family and a vast amount of friends who made me laugh constantly. I had a busy life, but I had routine. I would wake up in the morning, go to school on the number 22 bus and go to work after.
I loved my job, it was my safe haven. I knew every single person who visited the café and I could even predict what they were to order. However, working in a café was certainly not what I wanted to do. I wanted to go to University and I knew what job I wanted to pursue. Acting was my dream. From the age of 5 I had wanted to be an actress. I dreamt of going to movie premieres and walking down red carpets, being fussed over by fans. I was going to make it bigtime. Not because I was any good but because I was determined and passionate and absolutely adored acting. My friends definitely described me as ambitious and they believed I could make it. I had the right type of personality and look according to my friend, Steph. Obviously my parents weren't too keen about the whole acting dream but they loved me and would support me no matter what. I knew I had other options if acting didn't go to plan.
I was reasonably intelligent and could pursue something else if needed. I had other interests apart from acting. I loved to sing and swim. Swimming kept me fit and well, singing was just an added bonus. Anyway, I bet you are wondering what on earth happened to me.
