Chapter 1 - The Day Before the U. A. Exam

The sky seemed to shine brightly and the sun brought a warm feeling for the world below. A small bluette ran down the road with a large smile. As she stopped her white antenna like robotic ears picked up an interesting sound. Turning her head she ran towards the noise, her emerald eyes widened when she saw a small stray cat. Humming softly she crouched in front of the small creature and held her hand out for it to sniff it.

Sitting there she smiled at the small creature before her robotic ears started to blink. Moving her hand to answer the call a holographic visor went across her eyes. "Honey where are you?" A worried voice asked. "I'll be there in a second mom. I got distracted by a cat" She giggled at her mother's worry before turning off the visor. Adjusting her crouched position she jumped high into the air and managed to land right in front of her house with ease. Smiling she entered the house. "I'm home!" She called before removing her shoes. "Welcome home sweetie." A sweet womam with green eyes and brown hair popped her head out of the kitchen.

"Mom the U. A. Entrance exam is tomorrow!" She said excitedly. Her mother giggled softly. "I know you're excited for this Miki, but that means you need to check your energy levels. We don't want you crashing during the exam" She mentioned a bit worriedly. "Don't worry mom I'll make sure to go to bed early and be fully charged" Miki said with a happy smile. Moving to the couch the bluette checked the news quickly. It seemed there had been no rowdy villainous activity and there was only the occasional small crime. Sighing in relief she headed into her room to change into something better for the night.

She ended up changing into some fairly comfy pajama shorts and top. Looking in the mirror she observed herself. Her white antenna-like robotic ears were moving every so often at the slightest noise. She had robotic feet and legs that allowed her to preform the eailer jump to her house. Turning a bit her folded cybernetic wings where tucked away under her night top. Stretching a bit she headed into the kitchen to help her mom prepare dinner.

Her excitement for the exam caused the evening to fly by in a blur and now she found herself finishing up the energy from a chargeable batter while the plug from her ears was plugged into a wall. Laying down she looked up at the ceiling and smile. Tomorrow's the day I'll finally have the chance to achieve my dream she thought happily.
