The slight rocking of the train was comforting on the way home. It wasn't overcrowded, and there were plenty of seats available. Still, Berlin chose to stand up, hanging onto the bar as she looked out towards the sunset.

The sun looked as though it was engulfed in a sea of fire. Yellows, oranges, and reds made up the molten ocean of color slowly slipping beneath the horizon. Berlin turned her head around, looking through the window on the other side of the train. The purples and blues were a sharp contrast to the fiery image on the other side.

As Berlin began to turn back around to face the setting sun, she noticed a pair of cerulean eyes staring at her. Her breath caught as her gaze trailed from dazzling chocolate hair to a warm and knowing smile. The thought of watching the sunset slipped from her mind as she lost herself in the strangers gaze.

After a while, Berlin realized that she had been staring for much longer than she had anticipated, and the stranger probably thought she was some crazy stalker.

She quickly turned away, looking back at the sunset, only to be greeted by a cool toned sky as the last rays of sunlight slowly disappeared. Just how long had she been staring? Oh God, I really am a crazy stalker.

As Berlin continued to mentally scold herself, she felt a firm arm brush against her own. She turned her head and- oh.

The cerulean eyes were much closer now. She felt herself heating up as she quickly looked away. If she kept staring, certainly the stranger would file a restraining order against her. A moment passed in silence until Berlin felt a tap on her shoulder.

"Excuse me," a voice said. Her head whipped around to look at the stranger.

"Uh- my name is- hi." Berlin stuttered. A deep, husky chuckle reached her ears.

"Your name is Hi? Well, nice to meet you. Hi." The stranger said with a golden grin. Berlin felt her heart melt in her chest.

"Uh no. No my name is not hi. I'm Berlin." She was rewarded with a laugh.

"I'm Eric. I noticed you watching earlier." Berlin stifled a groan.

"Uh yeah... Sorry about that. It's just..."

"It's just what?"

"Y-Your eyes."

"My eyes?"

"Yes. Your eyes." Eric's eyebrows shot up.

"What about my eyes?"

"Well, if I'm going to be honest, they are beautiful. Your eyes, I mean. The color... Cerulean... It's very nice. And yes, I was lost in them for an unknown amount of time."

"That unknown amount of time was quite a while."

"Yeah, sorry about that."

"No worries. I'll admit, I was staring at you too. You have such beautifully red lips." Berlin could feel the blush creeping into her cheeks

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Thank you."

"No problem. I was wondering... Between your lips and my eyes... Would you like to grab some dinner with me?" Her heart skipped a beat. Hell yeah. We can do much more than grab dinner if you want. For example, I could smear ice cream all over your chest and then lick it off. She nodded shyly.

"Wonderful. Let's get off at the next stop." She was once again greeted with a warm smile.

And indeed, they did get off at the next stop.
