Chapter 1️⃣4️⃣

"Jacob?" I say, knocking on his bedroom room door.

"Yeah I'm in the bathroom brushing my teeth, come in." He shouts.

I proceed into his bed room and sit on the edge of his bed.

I see that there is a bottle of wine on his dresser that wasn't there before.

Suddenly he appears out of the room.

"I got us some wine if you wanted." He says grabbing it.

"I think I'll pass on that, you remember the last time I drank." I say, causing us to both laugh.

"Then I'll be right back then." He says, before I can even say anything.

I have to tell him.

I wait there patiently as he returns with two sodas.

"Here you go." He said handing me one.

"Thank you" I say, hesitantly.

"Why don't I find a good movie for us to watch and we can cuddle up." He smiled.

"I would love too." I said, playing around with the belt of my robe.

he puts on a romance movie, then hit the lights, and we crawl into bed and I scoot closer to him. I rest my head on his chest and he wraps his arms around me.

As we watch the movie, I keep hearing my conscious saying that I should tell him.

Will this ruin our relationship again?

Tears brim in my eyes, remembering an endless amount of things I screwed up.

Well I do want to be honest with him.

Here goes nothing.

"Uh Jacob," I say, while sitting up, trying to hold back the tears forming in my eyes.

"Yeah?" He asks, sounding half asleep.

"I...um, have something important to tell you." I said slowly.

I can feel my heart racing.

"Okay, what is it?" He asks, pausing the movie & turning a lamp on.

We are both facing each other in his bed.

I take a deep breath.

"Well I really do want this to work between you and I, so I feel like since we're starting fresh there's something I should inform you about." I said, looking down.

He smiles, and just nods his head.

I look up and began to tell him.

"Well ever since me and the other Jacob broke up, things have been really hard to do on my own, especially with my cheap diner job."

He nods, & holds one of my hands.

"So um, the apartment that I live in, has recently raised their rent, which I can't afford to pay, so I don't know what exactly is going to happen to me."
