Chapter 1

"PLEASE STOP!!!" I yell as he hits me more. "PLEASE I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!" I yell over and over again until I feel myself slowing slipping into a place of unconsciousness.

Well that was just a daily thing for me... Get beaten and blamed for my mothers death. It wasn't my fault but that's not what my father thinks. My name is Zayden Letter, I'm 17 and livin the dream (not). I'm an average height and an average girl at that. Black hair, blue eyes, tan,Whatever. (Pic if her) and the only child. I hate life and everything about it and most of the time I wish I could just die, but that doesn't seem to work out for me.

As I wake up on the ground I look around and see that my dad/abuser is passed out on the couch. Thank god.

I slowly get up and be careful not to wake my sleeping father and quickly make my way up to my room. I lay in my bed and take a quick peek at the damage done to my body. 5 bruises already and as I can see many more to come. A few scratches and possibly a mild concussion. I sigh and take out my phone.

I text a few friends and end up taking a shower to remove any sighs of the just beaten smell. I wash up and quickly step out and get dressed in some sweat pants and a t-shirt while sliding into bed. 9:00 sweet perfect timing. I think as I cover up and quickly fall into a deep sleep.

Dream:

He spins my around and kisses me while whispering in my ear how much he loves me. I giggle and whisper back how much I love him. We have fun together in a park and hold hands and act silly together. At the end of what I'm guessing was the day he smiles and kissing me telling me it's time that we go our separate ways. I ask him what he means but he disappears and I'm left standing there looking around.

(End of dream)

I'm awakened by the sound of my alarm and I click it off still thinking about the weird dream with the strange guy. I sit up and look around sighing. "Time to start the dreaded day" I say to myself.
