BERITS POV
I wake in my hospital bed and see nothing around me.
Everything is a blank, white, nothingness.
A shady figure appears from nothing.
"Why are you here?" i say softly.
"You need to see the truth Berit"
"how do you know my name?"
"because i see you everyday.. With Them."
"Who is them?"
"You will realize when your heart shatters and they will be responsible"
The figure lunged at me and right then i realized it was human.
But then again.. it wasn't.
The creature had teeth about an inch long and very sharp. The skin on its face looked like it was just a skeleton underneath and someone else's skin had been simply stretched over it and tied to the skull.
I screamed as the creature bit right on my stomache and i was greeted with agonizing pain. Like i was being stabbed by 20 little inch long knives.
I was terrified.
I woke up this time in my bed and looked down in horror.
I had bite marks on my stomache and was bleeding to death.
I ran to Mitch and Jerome's door and tried to knock before i passed out inched from their door.
JEROME'S POV
"Come on Benj get your ass over here or im leaving to class without you!"
"I'm coming Jerome gimme a sec!"
"Fine I'll just go get Berit by myself"
I opened the door and started crying when i saw Berit.
Helpless. Covered in blood. Right outside out door.
I sat there waiting for i don't know what and crying my eyes out when Mitch happily walks over to me.
"Jerome whats up why aren't we goi-"
Mitch stopped mid sentence when he looked over my shoulder.
I snapped out of it and picked her up bridal style while Mitch knocked on Serena's door to tell her.
MITCH'S POV
"Serena open the fucking door"
"Yeah wut." she replied cockily.
"BERIT WAS PASSED OUT IN THE HALLWAY COVERED IN BLOOD AND SHE WONT WAKE UP WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED!" I broke down and snapped at her.
"Uhm... Not my fault?"
And i forced her to come to the hospital with us.
BERIT'S POV
I saw nothing. I heard voices and saw nothing.
Because i saw you with them.
With them.
Them.
Mitch and Jerome.
That thing saw me with Mitch and Jerome
But why did it tell me my heart was going to break?
How did it know.
I tried to speak in he darkness. Tried to breathe when there was no air.
It wasn't working.
