All of Me
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Everything must be going really fast between us. Somehow, it really doesn’t matter now though the uneasy feeling in me still exists. They say that what really matters is that you’re happy. I agree with that but sometimes, I just can’t help wonder if it’s really alright. There are still moments where I over think of things and ended up confused and worried about the other side of our story; her point of view. Does she worry of the same things as me? Does she have the same fear as mine? What exactly is she feeling? Is she even as serious as I am? These questions visit my head from time to time, making my head hurts more than my heart most of the time. But just as what they said, you’re already in the moment, cherish it.
“Hmm?” a warm graze over my cheeks startled me. “You’re looking blankly at me Nyannyan.”
“Eh?”
“What are you thinking? Something happened today?” She asked worriedly, giving me a sad smile. I tilted my head returning a soft smile as I met her eyes with a questioning look. “Tell me a story.” She grinned.
“I’m not a good story teller.” I averted my eyes from her gaze. “You know that.”
“But I wanna know how your day was.” She gave my cheeks a gentle press, cupping it within her palms. Warm as usual. “I wanna know.” She continued with a sigh before giving it another squeeze. “Please?”
“Yuuchan,” breathing a little nervously “thank you.”
“Eh?” her cheeks turned red and felt the fingers warming my cheeks slightly lowered temperature. I can’t help but giggle over it and to the slight widening of her eyes. For the first time, I got her speechless.
Along with this proud feeling is the continuous pounding of my heart. It’s beating so loud that it’s starting to deafen me. “… thank you.” I repeated in a whisper without taking off my gaze off her.
“Let’s get married.”
“…”
“…”
“Eh?!” That sudden silence somehow didn’t become awkward. Reacting late, I can’t hide the fact that I wasn’t affected by those words. Surprised? Yes. Though that was the case, I was able to notice the change on her features. The smile softens as she brings her eyes to meet mine. “You should be the one telling me about your day.”
The sides of her mouth stretched towards her ears. “You’re right.” As those warm palms left my face to give ma a hug, it’s still the way her head rest over my chest makes me fall for her more. “I guess I’m just tired.”
“What happened?” I voiced my concern in a mumble as I return the hug. Having her in my arms like this always feel so calm and blissful. “You’ve been busy all day.”
“Yeah~” it was almost a silent answer that I can barely decipher. I could only tell through the warm air that dampens my chest. “I got to check stuffs at the company. It’s head-pounding to be honest.” She let out a heavy breath and brushed her cheeks over my chest. “I feel like I’m gonna die.”
“Silly~” I commented underneath a giggle. “You won’t die from working too much in a day~”
“Mou~~” her voice is getting lower. She’s really tired and sleepy. I love this part of her though, specially the way she sounds when she’s this sleepy. “Working kills me~~”
