“You take care okay?”

“Geez~ you don’t have to tell me that.”

“I need to.” I beamed before wrapping my arms around her and keep her body close. “So you’ll know I always worry about you.”

“Aww~ sweet!” she giggled.

“Hmm~ That’s a first.” I commented as I rest my head over her crown, tightening my hug to at least let her feel that I don’t want to let go. She hummed at my comment. “Someone finally told me I am sweet.” I chuckled.

“Yes you are.” She returned my embrace and got a little rub on my back. “You just rarely show it.”

I pushed her back a little and gave her cheek a light pinch. “You! Stop sweet talking me~" Grinning, I picked her bag up from the couch and hand it to her lightly. “Go now, or else I won’t let you.”

“Same goes for me.” I felt her fingers tracing my arms down to my hands and later on interlocking our fingers; that sweet little gesture that sends my heart to the sky. “Take care on your trip. I’m happy you’re going out with friends.”

“I’d rather be with you than them though.” I chuckled.

“Don’t say that. They are your friends. You need to spend time with them too~~” the back of her palm grazed my cheeks. Why does she have to be this sweet? It’s killing me.

I nodded with a big wide smile. “Yes. I know that.” I brushed her shoulders and gave it a light squeeze. “I just said it so you’ll know how much I like you.”

“Cheezy Nyannyan~ cheezy~~”

I laughed and walk with her out the door of her house. Nope, it isn’t what you’re thinking. She asked me to spend the night with her since we’ll both be out of town and will not see each other for a week. To think of it, it isn’t really a big deal since we don’t really see each other every day like how other couples do. Yes we do spend the night from time to time but we keep ourselves connected through mobile most of the time. We are that busy.

“Jaa~ I’ll go ahead.”

I laughed hard over her words. “Silly. Why are you going ahead of me? This is your house.” I shook my head and went with her outside, tangling our fingers together. “Should I send you to the meeting place instead?”

“No need. Besides, you’ll be late if you do that.”

I can only nod in response and give her another smile. “Okay. Take care.” I uttered before turning my back.

“How about my kiss?” she called. My back remained facing her, I sighed under a smile as I virtually shake my head sidewards.

“Distance makes the heart grow fonder Yuuchan.” I replied without turning around. “I’ll give you more than that if you want to when we meet again.”

I walked away without looking back with my heart beating loud enough to deafen me. It was jumping hastily that the blood all over me seems to be creeping on every part of my body. There’s a rush I can’t explain, like I’m ten feet off the ground. Still, coming down off it isn’t in my head. I wanna stay like this. I want us to stay like this.

“Huh? Is there something wrong?” Marichan asked as she towel dry the cups. “That’s past ten counts now.”
