~ Medical institution for mental deterioration (MIMD), Seattle ~

"I'm seeing things. Scary things" she told the man who sat on the chair in front of her, with her eyes on the floor in this empty, white room.

Only her and his chair plus a little table were in the room. The man sat beside a camera what was recording the conversation since it began fifteen minutes ago.

It was cold in there, and she felt that her foots went colder by the time she didn't move on the chair. She had to sit there and talk to this man again and again for the last two weeks.
He asked her all types of questions and stayed calm while doing that, but she wanted nothing else more than go out and never come back.

"What exactly do you see, Cara?" he asked her and watched every single movement of hers, but all she did was sitting on the chair, looking down and hiding behind her brown locks.

"I'm seeing things that are scaring me" she answered quietly. "They're haunting me."

"They?" he wanted to know and she played with her pale, cold hands, before she nodded.

"Who are they, Cara?", the man asked and the camera focused on her again, like it did the whole time.

"The souls of who he killed." she explained murmuring and lifted her head slowly.

"Who's he?" he asked, still still calmly on the chair behind the table.

"Daddy.", she responded. "He killed them all. And he will continue with his work."

She looked directly into the camera, before she spoke: "He will never stop."

~ Falk's High School, Seattle ~

The clock showed exactly 7.42 AM and so began the first period for Amelia and her guy best friend Jonathan, simply called Jona.
They walked through the white hallway of their school and almost ran to their classroom, being already late for today's math class, because they waisted time with talking to the bus driver earlier.

"Lia, come on hurry" Jona spoke to his friend and finally reached the room.

"What do you think will Mister Millard do to us?" she asked and stood beside the door.

"I don't know, but I guess detention." he answered and placed his hand on the doorknob. "Ready?"

Amelia nodded before giving Jona the signal to open the grey door.
Short after said thing was done, both of them were looking at their classmates and their math teacher, Mister Millard.

"Oh, see who's honouring us with their presence, people." he spoke and shook his head in disbelief. "McCain, Fallon, sit down."

"Yes, sir" they responded and sat down as fast as they could.

Luckily, they didn't get detention from Mister Millard, but they had to listen to a five minute talk of their teacher about responsibility.

~ Falk's High School, cafeteria ~

"I hate him." Lia said pissed off of their math professor as she sat down to murder her lunch.

The cafeteria was as crowded as if everyone would've tried to escape a zombie apocalypse. Every pupil tried to get a seat, but Lia and Jonathan knew how things worked at Falk's so they had their technique to get their seats.

"At least we didn't get detention." Jona added and started to eat his sandwich.

"Hm" she hummed mad and ate her tiny portion of salad. "But still."

"I don't like him either, okay? But being pissed off because of him isn't worth it." he tried badly to calm her down.

"I hate it when you're right." Amelia said as she stabbed her salad.

They spent the whole break in the cafeteria and ate their food.
After that they were having six more periods before their school day ended.

Little did they know that they were watched. They were haunted the whole time they went home from school.
The dark creature followed them without being noticed. It smirked evilly that they didn't have a clue about him.

Not yet.

My first horror book. A short chapter for its beginning but it'll be longer the next one.
Look, English isn't my first language so sorry if I did mistakes.

Leave a comment so I know how to make it better :)
