Lost

Chapter 1

The loud sound of music, people yelling.

I need to get out of here.

I turn my head and see a forest off to the left. People are too busy dancing, they wouldn't notice if I just went for a little walk, right?

I'm about half way to the tree line when I get pulled back.

"Bex, where are you going? The party's the other way-"

I know that voice from anywhere. I forcefully pull my arm back and continue walking, "Ryker just leave me alone please, I need to go for a walk."

"Bexley Beatrice Marie Rhyes, come back to the party now." he said in an angry voice.

"Ryker, I'm not going back. You know me, a dumb girl with severe social anxiety. I don't do well in large groups. Please, just let me go for a walk, I will come back" I said.

"Yeah okay, Bex, you said you would come back last time, and what happened? You were missing for almost a year."

"Just leave me alone!" I snapped.

Ryker put his hands up and walked backwards in defeat. I stood there watching him, then turned and walked into the forest. Once I was surrounded by trees, no music in hearing range, just me, myself, and the forest, I sat down on a log. I started quietly singing to myself when I heard a rustle in the trees.

I immediately stood up and looked around, and no one was there. Then before I knew it, everything was black.
