My First Love

Ch 9

Amanda POV

"Hey, Am you look good, you should dress more often" James said smiling. I blushed pushing my hair behind my ear.

"Thank you".

"You wanna drink something" he ask me with a smirk.

"Water will do please" I replied and we made our way to the kitchen. He handed me a glass of water I took it thanking him.

"No problem, I'm glad you could make it to the party. No offence but you are not a party girl" he said smiling.

"Of course, Jack is a good friend of mine and if I refuse to attend, Clair may hunt me down" I said jokingly, he chuckled. Looking around his eyes lit up before I could ask him or look at his eyes direction.

"Hey!!! I'm going over there, see you around enjoy your night" he said hurriedly walking towards the crowd.

"Okay you too" I yelled through the loud music. As I watch him disappeared among the crowd. I was disappointed that he left me alone, I wish our research was not yet over.

Clair and Jack are busy making out in the corner and I don't want to disturb them. As for Ely I don't know where she had disappeared to, still not in sight.

So now I'm left all alone. Looking around the house I started walking towards the backdoor. I never knew that Jack had a beautiful house. I open the door to get some fresh air and saw a pool.

Walking towards the pool I took out my heels and sat down  with my feet under the water. Today was one of those day when I should have locked myself up at home but instead here I was. Jack's house now held half of school population.

Wish I could tell James I like him but I'm too shy to express my feelings. However he won't like me back,  I'm just a nerd and he is a school popular bad boy . I'm just not so his type. I just want to keep our friendship like how we are now in the future too or maybe more than that.

Oh!!!! James you don't know how crazy I'm for you. I heard my phone ringing, it was Clair.

"Yeah, Clair"

"Am, I've been searching for you, where are you? Are you with James?" she ask teasingly and I know she is smirking over there.

"What? No, I'm at the pool and what makes you think that I'm with James"  I question her.

"Jack said he can't find James so I assume he is with you, after all you guys are getting closer these days" she stated.

"No, he is not with me, is it time to go" I ask.

"Am,I'mstayingatJackhousetonight" she respond in a hurry.

"Clair, could please slow down and  repeat it"

"Am, I'm staying at Jack house tonight. So I thought of asking James to drop you" she respond nervously.

"What? Come to the back door I need to talk to you" I said and cut the call without waiting for her reply. After a minute Clair came.

"You are joking right" I ask her in serious tone.

"No. Am, I love him and I want to give him everything. I want tonight to be special for him, and I've decided why not we have been in a relationship for a year" she said and I can see love in her eyes. If she had decided who am I to stop her.

"Are you sure? Because you are giving up your V card and your only 18 years" I ask her once again.

"Yes, I'm sure Am. Are you angry?" she ask me worriedly.

"No I'm not, just be careful I don't want to see you crying or sad. And I'll support you no matter what" I state looking at her.

"Oh!! Am, I'm so lucky to have you as my friend" she said hugging me and cried.  Oh God!!! Why is she so emotional.

"Okay stop crying I don't want to be the reason behind your tears" I said winking, while rubbing her tears away. She just laugh and hit my arm with her clutch.

"Ow that hurts" I said pouting.

"Now, let's go search for James. I know you can't wait to spend some alone time with him" she said with a smirk.

"Shut up!! Clair" as I said that I felt myself blushing.

"Some one is blushing just by the mention of his name" she keep teasing me .

"Okay!!!  That's enough, you" I pointed at her "go and enjoy your time with lover boy I'll search for James" I said wear my heels.

"Someone is eager to be with her lover" she said teasing walking towards the door.

I just smile "enjoy your night" I shouted at her.

She winked at me and mouthed 'I love you' and disappeared.

I went back inside. I was so focused on looking for James on the dance floor where people were practically dancing, grinding each other that I didn't look at where I'm going until I dumped into some one and liquid splattered onto my dress. I groan in annoyance.

"I'm so sorry I was not looking where I'm going" looking up I saw a cute boy from my class  I don't remember his name.

"No, I'm sorry it's my fault here let me help you" he said with concern.

"It's okay!! I'm fine, just please show me the washroom" I ask politely and he showed me the direction. I did my business and headed towards the kitchen to drink water.

I was silently filling my cup when I saw James walking right toward me. You know the feeling when you see your favourite hero in a movie, walk in slow motion, while the camera zooms in on him? That's how my heart fluttered looking at his God-like appearance walking towards me. Before I could do anything or even react, he came right in front of me, grabbed me by the waist, pulled me towards him and put his lips on mine.

I was shock unable to react. I couldn't believe what was happening, the cup slipped from my hand and fell to the ground.  I close my eyes savoring the moment, suddenly I remember that was my first kiss and he just took it without my permission I always wanted it to be special.

Feeling angry I held my hand to his chest and push him.

I was speechless as I saw him looking at me for a split second, With his gray stormy eyes. He ran his hand through his Hair and clenched his jaw before turning around. Clearly a look of regret or something else.

And thus happened my first kiss.
