The Silver Spider~ A Hunter x Hunter Fanfiction

Prologue

She ran down the dimly lit alleyway, the rain drenching the female's deep purple hair and ghost white skin. Her black attire clung to her slender 5'5 form like a second skin, dripping from the freezing water that had soaked through the light material.

She tripped over a stray piece of wood that had most likely fallen from one of the dilapidated buildings which lined the alley and sent her sprawling face first onto the concrete ground. A playing card lodged into the ground beside her face which was hidden by a black mask with silver tear like markings running from the eyes to the base of the mask. A shadow fell over her motionless body as a man leaned over to look at her. He had stunning gold eyes and crimson coloured hair and wore a clown style outfit.

"My my danchou has been looking for you everywhere little bird~♠"

His tone was amused yet sinister as he straddled her waist and tightly cuffs her gloved hands behind her then picked her up as a black car pulled up. A second man motioned for the clown like man to hurry up. He obliged, placing the unconscious female on the back seat before getting in himself.

This was the start of the young assassin's new life...how she would cope with the change was completely unknown.
