Hai there again! Second fanfic in a day! I'm so bored! But oh well! This may be very emotional so grab your box of tissues and blanket, find somewhere comfy to sit and let us begin.

"Don't you think it's time you contacted Andy?" My mother asked, stirring her coffee.

"I don't think he's interested in me." I told her.

"Of course he is! He was your idol!"

"That was before he got famous."

"So what changed?" She asked. I sighed and closed down my laptop.

"When I used to send him letters, he never replied. He never contacted me. He never spoke to me. So I just gave up. The fame has gone to his head." I said, sighing.

"Just write him one more letter." She said.

"He won't reply. But okay." I said. I ran upstairs with my laptop. I sat at my desk, running my hands through my brown hair.

I picked up a red pen and wrote his address at the hotel he was staying at. He was there for a few months, enough time for it to get there. I started it.

Dear Brother,

This is one last letter before I move on. Before I move away. Before I do something with my life.

I hope your doing well in America. It seems a pretty big place. It seems a bit over whelming.

I'm so glad you're band is bigger than before. Do you remember those days when you were practising and I was sat on the stool watching you? Then we'd all go get a milkshake? I loved those milkshakes oh and those cookies! They were very nice.

Just to let you know, I'm becoming a professional drummer in a band called the Devils Smile. We are doing a Europe tour. It's going to be good. Perhaps we will get as big as you. But I'm taking a degree in English and music.

I miss you. I want you to come home little Johnny Rickfield. Come and join Jennifer Rickfield back in your place.

I love you more than I can scream,

Love,

Melody xxxxx

PS send my love to the boys! Xxx

I folded up the letter and put it in an envelope. I wrote the address again, sighing. Andy wasn't going to read this. Toss it in the bin like the others. I was beginning to believe my brother was shallow and horrible as everyone else.

Chapter 2

*two weeks later*

"Told you mum. He hates me. He's never going to reply." I said at breakfast, sipping my coffee. She looked at me sternly.

"Why don't you try phoning him?" She said.

"No. I always have to make the effort. Just because he's famous. You're always like Andy's so amazing but I've never heard you say anything about me!" I told her, putting my newspaper down. She looked at me with reproachful eyes.

"No I don't! You are an amazing drum player."

"Fine what grade am I?" I asked. She looked blankly at me.

"See? You knew Andy's range of vocals!" I shouted. I ran upstairs. She tried to follow me. I laid in the middle of my bed, crying. Why did she favour Andy so much? What was so special about him but not me? So he can scream and sing but I can too and play drums!

Suddenly, an envelope slipped under my door. It had my address is huge bold letters. Andy's handwriting. I recognised it. I teared it open. It read:

Dear lil sis,

I know you're moving on and forgetting all about me. I heard about your tour. You won't think of your brother.

Americas a nice place. I'll take you one day. It's lovely weather but a lot of storms.

Thank you about the band. Yours will become big I know! I heard your single 'Broken'. It's amazing! Well done. The drumming work is fantastic!

Come to think of it, I do remember that milkshake place! Milkshake Heaven? Yeah! You loved it there. I must take you again one day. Good times.

It's great that you're involved with music. I hope your degree goes well.

I miss you more. I want to come home too. I miss you all so much. I will see what I can do.

I love you more than I can ever scream,

Love,

Andy

Xxxxxx

PS they sent their love to you as well xxx

I cried even more into my pillow.
