Epilogue

   " Jungkook! Jungkook! Where are you?!?! "  The wailing of the wind and the rain swept hard down the bark of a pine tree, onto Jungkook's small body. Lightning struck every minute, scaring the little boy out of his mind.
BOOM!! Went the thunder, causing Jungkook to hug the pine tree tightly.
  " I'-m h-er-e-e... " His voice was almost drowned out by the storm.
" He-l-p.... me... " The leaves were rustling against his face, and he was trying his best not to cry.
A misty figure, much taller than himself, came into view. It looked around, then gasped when it saw him.
  " Oh! Jungkook! There you are!! I'm so relieved ...." The figure bent down and picked him up. Jungkook didn't care how the figure knew his name. He felt that the being could be trusted. The figure wiped the tears of Jungkook's cheeks. " I'm here... I'm here.. Don't cry.. My Kookie... "
   Jungkook slowly started to calm down. The figure rocked him slowly.
" Don't worry, I'm here Kookie... "
    He felt protected, calm, warm, in the figure's embrace, even in the loud storm. Melting into his hug, Jungkook started to feel sleepy. All of a sudden, thunder and lightning struck violently nearby. Jungkook jumped and held the being tightly.
    " Ah!!! "
    " It's ok, we're fine... I'll protect you. "
   " Will you protect me forever? " Jungkook asked, drowsy. The figure started to break down.
   " Yes.... forever....... "
    " Go-od..... " Jungkook fell asleep as soon as he got his answer, convinced this being would take care of him forevermore.
    " I... love.. you.... And I will forever.... " the figure whispered, kissing Jungkook's forehead. " I can promise you that... "
    The person held Jungkook lovingly as if their own Son. " I love you... I love you... "
    The figure didn't notice, but a smile curved up Jungkook's face, hearing those words. There was someone who loved him in this world, and he was never going to leave him.
