"Lucifer was an angel. A fallen angel. But an angel, nonetheless."
------------
"Rin! Rin!"
Yukio chased after Rin, practically screaming his name to get Rin to stop running.
"Rin! Where are you going, Rin?! Stop already!!"
"Why should I?!" Rin thought, furiously. "So I can face the feelings that I've been so desperate to get rid of?!" He chastised himself, "So I can face the one that hates me now more than ever?! ...... So I can hate myself... now more than ever?" Rin couldn't stop the tears from flowing down his cheeks and blurring his vision.
Rin kept running. It was only around seven o'clock, yet the sky was blackened with thick clouds as they released their heavy tears unto the Earth and Her inhabitants. Rin didn't care if he caught a cold. Hell, he didn't care if he slipped and broke his arm! He just wanted to get away.
Away from his feelings.
Away from the source of his feelings.
Who was to say that the one person he liked wouldn't hate him so? It was plainly obvious that Ryuji hated Rin's guts right now more than he ever had before.
"Stupid! Stupid, stupid, stupid! Why didn't you just apologize when you had the chance?! Why?!"
Rin continued to mentally berate himself as the sound of his feet thundered against the ground to the time of the thundering sounds above. He picked up his pace before he realized that he had lost his fraternal twin. Rin finally slowed down to a walk and allowed himself the time to realize and watch with blurred vision as his eyes birthed tiny crystals and he continued to watch as those crystals fell and died on the Earth's surface beneath his feet.
Rin tripped on a root in his blurred state and fell to the ground beneath him. As he lied in the softening mud, he breathed heavily and began to berate himself once more. "Why couldn't I just be normal? Why couldn't I just have a normal life? Of course, nothing can ever go right for me, huh? Nope."
Rin pushed himself up onto his forearms as he examined the mud on his hands. Rin sniffled and sighed as he stood up and tried to get as much mud off of him as best as he could. He quickly grew frustrated and gave up with the fruitless action. "Well, there goes this shirt." He thought as he pouted and looked upon the ruined white shirt drenched in mud.
Rin visibly slumped as he turned and began treading back to where he thought the direction of the ryuuken was. Rin stopped in his tracks with wide eyes as he thought "Wait.... where the hell am I?" Rin began to panic as he turned around, hoping to see any sign of familiarity.
Rin's tears soon began to come back tenfold as he quickly grew more panicked in the darkening forest. He began to sniffle and sob as he walked over to a tree and slid down into a sitting position and folded his legs into his chest where he released his cries.
He whimpered in distress as he realized how hopelessly lost he was.
"Uh oh."

"Hey, Bon. Come on, dude. It wasn't your fault."
Suguro's head shot up to give a weak glare towards one of his childhood friends. "Yes it is!" Suguro argued. "I didn't know what to do, so I got mad, and now he's gone! How is it not my fault?!"
Shima opened his mouth to try and say something, but he didn't quite know what to say. So, he just settled for a deepening silence as he hung his head and slumped against the wall behind him.
