Here We Come

The Return

(Sam's POV)

I can't believe it's been over two months since Dad and Papa have come back. Sometimes I'm scared that one day I'll wake up and realize that this all was a dream.

But the author isn't like that.

Lucius and Tim are officially together which in my opinion took them long enough. First Lucius gave Thorin's soul to his father and then surprised Tim by appearing out of thin air, earning him a punch in the nose.

Those two are so cute. Tim keeps referring to Lucius as his hero and is more affectionate around him. Which is excellent for taking pictures by the way.

Rumor has it that Lucius already has a ring, which I hope to see soon.

After Mark and Jack came back the entire gang, besides the Sharp's, swore that they would never kill again. It was a great 25 years though.

Dad and Papa are just the way they were before. They even like Arden which is a total plus.

However recently this past week, Arden has been really quiet and distant. I don't know what's going on but hopefully our date tonight will fix any problems. Dad and Papa and everyone knows but me, and it's really ticking me off. I will get to the bottom of this. But first I need to find out what I'm going to wear!

(Arden's POV)(haven't done this one in a while)

Ah! I am so nervous! Tonight is the night I am going to propose to my one true love. It took me awhile to get her father's blessing but I finally got it. Her brother I'm sure is still mad at me for taking away his sister.

I pulled out the emerald ring from my pocket of my tux. It shimmered in the light just like Sam's eyes.

Hopefully all goes well tonight.

_Skip to the date because I'm lazy_

We had just pulled up at the restaurant and my heart was pounding as I saw Sammy again. Her brown hair was down and wavy and flowed just to her shoulders. She wore a knee length green and blue dress which made her irises pop. How did I get so lucky to have a girl like her?( I don't know maybe cause I wanted you to)

"Shall we?" I asked giving her my hand. She giggled and took it.

The dinner was fantastic and Sam kept yelling at our waitress for flirting with me. And people wonder why I love this girl.

Currently we were walking through a park, arm and arm, her head was resting against my shoulder. My heart was still pounding but I wasn't nervous anymore.

"I had a great time, thank you." Sam whispered to me kissing my cheek.

"Your welcome, angel."

Suddenly I felt a drop of water hit my nose, and then another, and another, until it was full out raining.

We rushed to find some shelter. We hid under a snack stand clutching the other tightly

"This is not how I wanted this to go." I chuckled.

"Really? I think it's perfect." It was time.

" Sam I need to ask you something." She looked at me confused and a bit worried.

"What is it Arden?" I became slightly tongue tied but I fought it down.

" Sam ever since I first laid my eyes on you, that first time in that warehouse, I knew I loved you. When you flat-lined in that hospital, I thought I had lost you, and I wanted to die. A life without you was not one worth living. However you came back to me, and I finally mustered up the strength to tell you how I felt about you. Thank God you felt the same way. Though we have only known each other for a few months, I feel like I've known you all my life. I love your smile, personality, the way you just beam and smile shyly when someone complements you. The way you bite your lip when your concentrating really hard. Whenever there's children around you act as if you just won the lottery. When we hug or kiss, I feel as if sparks are flying. Sam I love you so much, and these are just a few of the reasons why I love you."

I slowly dropped down on one knee and pulled out the ring. She gasped and covered her mouth with her hands. Tears brimmed in her eyes.

"So I was wondering if you would make me the happiest man alive. Sam, will you marry me?" I asked seeing her jump up and down.

"Yes Arden, and a million more times, Yes!"

I kissed her and shouted loud enough for everyone in the park to hear.

" I'm Arden Danti and I am the luckiest man alive!"
She laughed and I picked her up bridal style watching the green jewel rest on her ring finger, reminding me what had just happened.

We drove home still excited and happy. We finally had each other, now we just needed to take one more step.

When we got home we were bombarded with questions and people grabbing at San trying to see her hand.

"Guys enough! I said Yes alright!" Sam shouted causing everyone to cheer with joy.

Tim came running up picking up his sister and twirling her in the air.

"I'm so damn happy for you guys!" He said giving me a brotherly hug.

The sound of someone clearing their throat made everyone go dead silent. The crowd parted and I stood face to face with a scowling recent Septic Killer.

I gulped. He stared and I suddenly became aware of the guns on his hips.

It was silent for a moment and then a huge grin broke out onto his face.

"Welcome to the family, son." Everyone presumed their cheering.

"I love you." Sam said to me.

"I love you too." I replied.

"Forever?"

"Forever."

Wait don't go yet, we still got one more chapter and then this story is finished forever. Thank you all so much for your support, Love you all!
