Welcome to the Problem which is my life.
My name is Penelope Elouise Rose or Poppy for short. I had a great life up until age 8. That's when my life became a shit storm.
Age 8: Father leaves
Age 10: Ryan,best friend and crush leaves
Age 14: Diagnosed with anxiety
Age 15: Mother diagnosed with cancer
You must be wondering how I deal with all of this, well it's simple really, I surf, I dance, I sing in the shower, party hard and wear the same fake smile everyday.

Poppy is living her life behind a fake smile.
She thinks her life couldn't any worse. Mother with cancer, check. Mental illness, check. Practically raising another sibling, check. But it turns out life can get worse when her father walks back into her life alongside Ryan trying to bring things back to the way they once were.
Things have changed, Poppy isn't a naive little girl anymore. Or so she thinks, behind that fake smile is still the girl who is still helplessly in love with her best friend and daddy's little princess.
