Guardian Wolf

Chapter 1

I am laying in the woods. Broken. Wanting to die. He left me.

The only person I truley loved left me to die.

I curl up into a ball and start to cry. I cry for what seems like hours, days, maybe even weeks.

Then I hear someone coming. Whoever it is I hope they don't find me. I don't want to be found. I just wanna die here.

I see a blur run past me and then something pick me up.

"Well what do we have here" someone says. I look up into red eyes.

"Wh- who are you" I ask trembling.

"It doesn't matter. All that matters is I have dinner," he says smiling. He throws me against a tree.

I scream in pain and start crying " Please, please leave me alone!"

He runs up to me and grabs my neck. He yanks me up and bites down.

" HHHHHHHH!!" I scream, trying to shove him off of me.

"LET ME GO! PLEASE!" I scream, crying, begging for him to let me go. He keeps drinking.

I fell the life draining from me. I start to feel a burning in me.

Something is pushing from the inside out, ripping out of me.

"AHHHHH. MAKE IT STOP!" I scream, thrashing trying to make the pain go away.

I see the man let go and all of a sudden I feel my clothes ripping. I look at the man and try to scream for him to leave.

Instead I howl. Wait, what? Growl, but what!

He has a look in his eyes. Fear. But why. I look into his eyes and all I see is a pure white wolf.

WHAT?

Bella?

Who is that! Who are you. What happened to me!

Bella. Bella calm down. It's me Jake. Listen I don't know what happened to you buy we will find out. I need you to come down to the reserve.

Ok, but there's a leech right here what do I do? I ask panicky.

Do what your instincts tell you to do.

Ok.

I forget about everthing and let my instincts take over. I look up at the leech and jump at him, jaws locking onto his neck.

I pull ripping his head off. I spit it out and then start ripping him limb from limb.

When I'm done I pick the head up and run to the reserve.

When I get their I walk to the fire and spit the head.

"WHAT THE HELL?" someone yells.

"Calm down Paul! It's Bella."

" BELLA. BELLA. WHY THE HELL IS SHE A FREAKING WOLF!!"

"I don't know Paul. That's why she's here." He stands up and dusts off, turning around and motions for me to come with him.

I look up into his eyes as he motions for me to come with him. It's like gravity. Suddenly it's them holding you down.

My whole centre shifts. I'll do anything, be anything, for him.

I walk after him, wondering what just happened, and he heads in and walks out with some clothes.

"Go change back and put these on," he says handing them to me.

I take them and run into the woods, phasing back and putting on the clothes. I walk back and sit next to Jake.

"What happened to me?" I ask quietly.

"I don't know Bells but we will find out." Jake says. Just then someone walks up and sits down.

"Jake who's that" the guy who just sat down asks.

"Sam this is Bella and Bella this is Sam" Jake introduces us.

"Why's she here?" Sam asks.

"She phased."

"What? Why?" Sam asks. His face expression shows the confusion that I felt.

"I don't know." Jake responds.

Just then Billy and some others come up.

Aww, bella how nice to see you," Billy says shaking my hand.

"You to billy" I smile at him.

"So what bring you to La Push" he asks.

"She phased" Jake said.

His eyes widen and asks, "What color?"

"What?"

"What color was your wolf?"

"Oh um, white. Pure white." I say a little confused.

"Uhh, damn it. I hoped this wouldn't happen."

"What wouldn't happen" asked Jake.

"Well. Legend says, the female descendant of Ephraim Black would phase into a Guirdian wolf. That wolf is said to be the most powerful wolf to ever be. A pure white wolf for a pure white heart. Her job is to protect the pack at any cost. She, um, she is to become Alpha. Period. There is no choice. I am sorry Jake, Sam, but there is no option." Billy says.

"But I'm not a descendant of Ephraim Black!" I yell.

"Yes you are Bella. Your mom is my younger sister. She doesn't know. She was taken at a very young age." He says.

I sit down, letting it all sink in.

Wait. Did he say Alpha? I can't be alpha! I don't know what to do!

"I can't be alpha!" I exclaimed.

"Bella, listen you have no choice. You, as of today, are now the Alpha" Billy says.

Then Jake looks at me and goes to say something but before he does he looks into my eyes.

He freezes and just stares at me.

"I just imprinted," he says after a while.

So that's what happened. What the hell has happened to me?
