LARA

"Mommy, why do I have to go? I don't want to go. No, I won't go!" Kio ran away from me and went under the dining table. Kei immediately followed him.

Today was the day Gian promised Kei and Kio to go the the amusement park. I am so against the idea of my twins being alone with Gian but the fact that Kei's eyes were full of excitement and happiness, I couldn't say no to him. I know Kei was longing for a father ever since, and now that he knows Gian, I know he wants to spend time with him.

"Kio, let's go! Let's go please.. I waited so long for this day, please Kio!" Kei asked him. Kio remained under the dining table.

"No, I won't go with that stranger!" Tumingin sa akin si Kei.

"Mommy.. si Kio oh.." Kei looked at me with teary eyes. Napalunok lang ako.

Bigla kong narinig ang pagdoorbell. He's here.

Pinagbuksan ko ng pintuan si Gian at nakita kong kasama nito ang anak nila ni Christa na si Jake.

"Akala ko ba yung kambal lang?" I'm not at ease with his child. He once caused trouble for my twins, at hindi malabong ulitin niya yun.

"Tatay!" Napatigil ako nang sumigaw si Kei noon at tumakbo palapit kay Gian. Niyakap naman ito ni Gian. Tumingin ako dito.

"Tatay?"

"Yes mommy, he told me to call him tatay." Bigla naman akong nanghina. I looked at Gian with disbelief. Tumingin ako kay Kei and held his shoulders.

"Kei, why don't you just call him.. Papa or Daddy?"

"But why mommy? I want to call him tatay. It's cool."

"But Kei---"

"Hayaan mo nalang siya, Ivannah. There's nothing wrong with the kid calling me tatay." Gian cut me off. I released a deep sigh before caressing Kei's head. "Kei, where's Kio?"

"Tatay, Kio is hiding under the dining table. He doesn't want to come with us."

"I'M NEVER COMING WITH THAT GUY! HE'S BAD! HE'S BAD AND I HATE HIM!" Kio shouted kaya naman napatingin kaming lahat dito. Kaagad akong lumapit dito at binuhat ito.

"Kio! Don't say things like that!"

"Why? It's true! That guy is bad! I will never go with him! Why do you even talk to this person, mom? He left us for another woman so I can't trust him!" I looked at Kio with a warning signal on my face. I hate Gian but that doesn't mean I'll allow my child to talk like that to another person. I don't want him to grow up rude.

"Kio. I told you never to talk like that!"

Napatigil kaming lahat nang marinig namin ang pag-iyak ni Kei.

"Kei, what's wrong?" Kaagad na nilapitan ni Gian si Kei at inalo. "Kei, anak. Tell tatay what's wrong."

"Kio, you said you want me to be happy. Why don't you come with us?" Napatingin lang ako kay Kio. He looks guilty for making Kei cry. A little while, he rushed to Kei.

"Okay.. I'm sorry Kei. I'll come with you. But I also want mommy to come."

"Kio!" Gian looked at me.

"Please, Ivannah. Pagbigyan mo na si Kio." Gian said. Napatingin lang ako kay Jake and he was just staring coldly at the twins. Kung pababayaan ko man ang mga anak ko kay Gian, hindi rin ako mapapakali.

"Fine, I'm coming."

THIRD PERSON

THEY arrived at the amusement park. Lara held to Kio and Kei while Gian was holding Jake. Jake wanted to come so he could spend some time with his dad, but he didn't knew the twins will come too.

"Tatay!" Kei pulled Gian's shirt. "I want ice cream and cotton candy! And ooh, the mickey mouse balloon too!"

"Kei, let me buy you those---" Gian stopped Lara.

"Let me handle this. Kulang pa 'to sa tatlong taon na di ko nakasama ang dalawa." Lara just sighed and let Gian buy those things. Bumili rin ito para kay Kio pero hindi ito tinanggap ng bata at hinila palayo si Lara.

NILIBOT nila ang buong amusement park. The three kids ride the carousel with Lara while Gian was just looking at them and filming them.

Jake was trying to have fun but the thought of having the twins and their mother with them was not really making him enjoy it.

After the carousel ride, the twins wanted to go and ride bump cars.

"I don't want to ride that.." Jake protested. Gian just looked at him and caressed his haid.

"Don't be scared, I'll ride with you." Jake gripped Gian's hand and looked at the twins. Kio just rolled his eyes on Jake.

"We're riding with mommy. You can have your dad." Kio said and pulled Lara into the bump cars.

The game started and Kei was started to enjoy but Kio seemed off. He was just staring at Gian and Jake while they were playing. Suddenly, Kio stopped the bump car and immediately went away of the course.

"Kio, where are you going? Kio!" Binuhat ni Lara si Kei at sinundan si Kio. Gian and Jake followed them but Kio was nowhere to be found.

"What happened?" Gian asked.

"I don't know! Basta bigla nalang siyang tumakbo paalis! And I can't find him anywhere!"

"Calm down okay? Let's look for him."

Lara and Gian asked the customer service of the amusement park to help them look for Kio. There were a lot of people and it's not easy looking for a small boy in this big crowd. Iniwanan muna nila si Kei at Jake sa loob ng office para mas makapaghanap sila ng maayos.

THEY continued looking for Kio until the sun was about to set.

"Kio! Kio nasaan ka?!" Lara started to panic. Kio was nowhere to be found and it was already getting dark. Once it gets dark, it will be more difficult looking for Kio.

"KIO!" Lara was running and she fell as she wasn't thinking straight anymore. All she wants to think of is finding Kio. "Kio, nasaan ka?!"

Gian helped Lara stand up. "Just calm down okay? We'll see Kio.."

"You want me to calm down?! My son is missing! Paano ako kakalma?! Kio is not yet found! I can't calm down!" Gian was trying to hold off Lara. "Bitawan mo ako Gian! I need to find my son!"

"Makikita din natin siya! It will be okay!"

Lara held Gian's shoulders, "Gian.. Hanapin mo si Kio! Please! I can't... I can't lose another son again.." Gian held Lara and hugged her. Trying to calm her down.

THREE hours passed and they still can't find Kio. Hindi nagpapigil si Lara at nagpatuloy pa din ito sa paghahanap kay Kio. Gian also looked for Kio.

While Gian was walking down the benches. He heard a tiny cry. He immediately followed where the cry was coming from and he saw Kio sitting under a park bench on the corner.

"Kio!" Kio just looked at Gian and didn't move. He was still crying and he was just sitting under the bench. "Kio, let's go.. Your mom is worried about you.."

"I won't go with you."

"Why? I know you are still mad at me. I know that it was my fault that you are feeling like that. I know that it's all my fault. But I'm here, I'm going to fulfill my job as a father to you and Kei. Alam kong hindi sapat yun, pero I'm trying my best. I'm trying my best para maituwid ko lahat ng pagkakamali ko noon." Kio looked at Gian. Iniabot ni Gian ang kamay niya kay Kio. "So would you give me a chance to be a dad to you, Kio?"
