This is the beginning of the end.
Salt water tides brush my hair.
The ice cold water pierces through my skin and every inch of my body is paralyzed.
Traces of light get dimmer and dimmer as I sink lower in the never-ending depth of vastness.
Slowly, all of my senses fade out and I am left without the feeling of fear and panic that had taken root from my stomach.
As I lose the shear hope I have left, I feel a warmer touch grasp my hand and i'm risen to the surface being held by a man. What was his name again?
I'm suddenly reminded of my sheer inability to swim. Whether it be in water, or my own head.
If only you could rewind time. I'm sure everyone has thought about it once before. So I'll go back to simpler days.
