"Wait," I say to Ellie as she continues to walk away.

I get up and grab Ellies arm.

"Shay, Im sorry, I forgot that not all girls are into girls, I don't want to lose this friendship we have, just forget it, pretend it never happened-" Ellie says avoiding my eyes.

I hug her from the back.

I feel Ellie stiffen in shock.

I hold her for a while processing my thoughts.

"I never said that I was straight" I whisper as I continue to hug her.

Ellie gasps a little.

I can see her blush.

"Shay-" Ellie says in shock.

"Cant you see where Im going with this?" I say letting go of Ellie.

Ellie turns around and looks at me.

I can feel myself blush as I say this because Ive never confessed to a girl before.

Ellie's mouth forms into a cute smile and she hugs me tightly.

Suddenly we hear the door open.

We totally forgot we were in Mr.Birches class the whole time.

"Oh shit" Ellie whispers.

We let go of each other and look at Mr.Birche.

"That you two were together" he says again continuing to smile.

I blush hardcore.

I look over to Ellie, shes also blushing.

"W-w-what are you talking about? pshh girls hug all the time" I say in denial.

"Ive seen the way you look at Ellie during lessons" he says with his eyebrow raised with a cheeky smile.

We look at each other.

I continue to blush.

"You look at me during class" Ellie says with a giggle.

"Uh" I begin to get shy.

"Hey Ellie same goes for you, I see you always glimpsing at Shay during silent reading" he says with a laugh.

I smile and look over to Ellie.

"Ohh, crap you caught me red handed to!" Ellie says sarcastically,

Deep down I could tell she was embarrassed.

Silence breaks in.

"So..." I say awkwardly.

"Don't worry girls, just because I give a lot of homework doesn't mean Im a bad guy, my son is gay and Im completely fine with it, I believe in equality" he says with a smile.
