Chapter 2

Dashawn and I arrived at school after our 20 minute drive. He parked his car and we walked into the school building and went to our lockers. I have English first period so I go my English binder and the book we were reading which was Hidden figures. It was a good book but I don't like reading so I just watched to movie which really didn't help much.
I walked to English when the first bell rang and I took my seat near the window in the back the class stared to get full and right before the late bell rang Mr.Williamson walked in the room with his sexy ass, he was my favorite teacher for the simple reason he was so sexy. Class was 50 min and we read a chapter in the book and discussed five questions afterward. The bell rang dismissing us to second period which was my music class with Dashawn and my ex boyfriend Lamar (I'll introduce him later). The sophomore music class was preparing for our spring concert on June 12th. As the class got seated it there respected sections Mrs. Green walked into the room and we all got quiet.

Mrs. Green: "Good morning class"
Class: "Good morning" we said in unison
Mrs.Green: "I know you are all excited for the spring concert so let's get to work so that we sound our very best"
We began doing a run though of all the songs we have already learned and Mrs. Green told us that there was one more song she was gonna teach us and the song was "Emotions" by Mariah Carey.
Me: "YASSSSSS!!! I shouted
Class: laughing
Mrs. Green: "It looks like some one likes that song"
Lamar: "I used to sing it to him all the time"
I rolled my eyes at him
Dashawn: "Shut up Lamar"
He rolled his eyes at Dashawn
Me: "Its not that Mrs. Green I just love Mariah Carey"
Mrs. Green played the song for us and told us some parts would be changed and that if any of us wanted a solo, to prepare to audition for it. The bell rang and class was dismissed. I went to my next three classes which were math, science and history, then I had lunch 5th period.
