The One That Got Away - Taylor Caniff

Chapter 1:

Hi I'm Grace, I'm 16, and this is biggest day of my life!

My friend Darcy and I are on our way to a cookout by the beach.

We are driving in my white jeep and it's almost brand new. I got it for my sweet 16 about 4 months ago.

I love the feeling of the the top off, the blaring music, and the wind flowing through my hair while I drive!

I live Orlando,Florida and it's usually always hot here. Right now it's 80 degrees and wow it's hot!!!

The cookout is at this really hot guy's beach house and I'm so excited!!

Right now I'm wearing a neon orange tank top and ripped jean shorts. I have a aqua bandana and yellow vans on.

I'm obsessed with vans and bandanas!

We are now pulling up to the house.

"Holy shit it's huge!"

I say while taking in the scenery of this gigantic beach house.

Darcy and I walk around back to find about 50 people and the smell of steak.

When we try to find our way to our friends, I bump into some guy and I fall on top of him. He stares into my eyes.

He looks familiar.
