A long time ago, up the halls, in Monaco. Lived a girl that everyone calls red. She wore a red coat every day, although the sun was out and it wasn't raining.
She likes to climb trees, jump around like a kid, she was ten and really, really spoil. Red also got her way. If she didn't she went stray, wonderful into one of her an adventure.
Then one day her dear mom, made a basket for grandmom, for the old lady wasn't feeling well. Go take this to you granny my dear, what's in there will help her feel better.
Then Red grabbed her coat and the basket although, she didn't want to do the favor. She walked out the door, as she puts on her red coat, out the door she went in a hurry.
Down the road Red walked, skipping and hopping along. Picking flowers that she saw on the way.
Now at grandmom's house, someone checking her out, as the wolf stares at grandmom through the window. Grandmom notices his head, as she got off her bed, to the window she quickly ran just to grab him.
She grabbed her gun, then aim and shoot. The wolf ran, with grandmom right behind him.
Slow down bow wow, I will stuff you right now, then I'll place you right over the door.
The wolf now was hiding, for grandmom wasn't playing. She wanted the wolf to stuff up his head.
The wolf ran, for his life I must say, hiding here and there along the way. Grandmom wouldn't give up, she kept trailing the wolf. She was right on top of his trail.
Now Red reached grandmom house, what she saw it was wrong, Grandmom's door was open out wide. Then as she walked in, the mess was so great in her heart, little Red knew something happened.
That wolf ate grandmom, oh, that's wrong, oh, so wrong. I must run, and look for some help. Look at all this mess, grandmom put up a fight, something's wrong, this doesn't make sense.
I'll sit here and I'll wait for my grandmom to return. I'll leave before it gets dark. My heart is beating hard, where can my grandmom be, boy I hope the wolf didn't eat her.
Red sat as she started to cry, as she cleans up the mess in the house. Then out of the blue, came a yelled, Red is that you?" as grandmom come out of the bushes.
On her back lay the wolf, with no life and no breath, as she laid him on the floor. To the barn, I must go, over the fireplace he goes, come on Red do give me a hand here.
Red was in shock when she saw the shotgun grandmom was holding in her hands. She didn't say a thing, help her carry the wolf. Then she gave her grandmom the food basket.
Grandmom put the wolf in the barn, then she and Red went back in the house. As they both walk that way, Grandmom stops and she said, the wolf attacked me first, you must know. So now my friend will never grow old for trying to eat me you know. I'm really sorry you had to see that, tell your mom thanks for the basket.
Red glanced at her grandmom and said sorry but I can't stay. Eat her basket of food, I'll be back tomorrow, with another of mother's food baskets.
