Yang opened his eyes, he was still in his meditation position with the Hero Blade in his lap. He looked down from the mountain at the forests. He felt light, like the heavy burden was lifted from his soul. He sheathed the Hero Blade into its scabbard and climbed down the mountain while enjoying the view of the island.

Getting Wrath out of his body was not truly what relieved him but it was seeing Wind's smile again. He loved her more than anything and he only wished that Mirgrim could see her too. Yang was daydreaming about her as he walked back to his friends. He could finally go home now that Wrath was gone.

Feleen, Cro, and Berdres helped Yang pack the supplies he needed. Cro pushed Yang's boat off and the three guardians waved to him goodbye. He was going to miss his friends but it was time for him to retire from his adventures. "Thank you for everything," he whispered under his breath.

He then sighed because he knew he would not see Wind again. He decided not to let it get him down and cook a meal for Mirgrim. As Yang was about to start a stranger in a red cloak flew down from the sky and landed on Yang's boat with a cowl covering his face. There was purple aura flowing around him.

The stranger was tall and lean. He had two kanjis on the back of his cloak, one read "Demon" and the other "Killer." He wore a sheathed katana with a purple hilt at his waist. The cowl made it difficult for Yang to see his face even as he looked up.

"Do you remember me?" Asked the cloaked man. "Weird hood, creepy entrance. Nope, you aren't ringing any bells to me," replied Yang. "Of course you wouldn't, I don't care either way," said the hooded man, "What I care about is making you pay for your sin, Jiro!" Yang stood still in shock that the man knew his real name. The cloaked man then punched the deck and the entire boat shattered in an explosion of purple aura.

Yang and Mirgrim fell in the water so Yang tried to go save his pet dragon from drowning. The stranger then grabbed Yang by the head and held him underwater. Yang was surprised to see the man standing on water as if it were a solid surface but he could not worry about that because he was running out of breath and more importantly because Mirgrim could not swim. He cut the man's arm with the Hero Blade and swam to grab Mirgrim then back to the surface.

"You won't get out alive," said the cloaked man, "I'll get my revenge, Jiro!" Yang's eyes widened then he yelled, "I don't even know you, how do you know my name?" He did not wait for an answer, he started swimming to land as fast as he could while holding on to Mirgrim. The hooded stranger was not following him though.

He got to land and was going to look for his friends to help him. He held Mirgrim as close to himself as he could and ran into the forest.

"You can't escape me, I know you too well," the cloaked man was running right behind Yang. Yang pulled out the Hero Blade and his purple aura flowed into it then he yelled "Surasshu" as he swung it to fling out a purple aura slash. The man pulled out his sword and did the same to counter Yang's attack.

Yang stopped and swung the Hero Blade but the cloaked man blocked it with his arm. The attack did no damage to the man but instead a cut appeared on Yang's arm and it was bleeding heavily. "How'd you do that? I didn't even sense any aura!" Shouted Yang. The cloaked man shook his head and replied, "I can't believe you don't know about it yet, it's called Universal Link."

Yang looked down to see glowing, purple chains attached to his chest that travelled all the way to the hooded man's arm but he could not sense the aura from it. Yang thought the chain would be trouble so he swung the Hero Blade at the stranger again. It hit his shoulder and a cut appeared on the same shoulder of Yang.

"How can someone so villainous, like you, pull out a sword for heroes?" Asked the cloaked man. Yang looked up at him and yelled, "Because I'm not a villain!" Yang swung the Hero Blade at the hooded man again but he caught the blade between his fingers which he used to snap it in half. Yang was shocked, he assumed a sword with that much power would be almost impossible to break. The stranger kicked him in the stomach and sent him flying before he could pull back but Mirgrim was not hurt because Yang was protecting his pet with his own body. He then sat his pet dragon down and motioned for it to run away.
