"Clay just called me. He wants us to meet him at Jeff's house," Noah said slowly, walking into Stella's room with a confused look in his eyes.

"What?" Stella asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

"I don't know. He said that it was important. He's flipping his shit. We should go," Noah said quickly. Stella nodded, getting up from her desk and rushing down the stairs after her twin. The ran to the car, speeding down the road to Jeff's house.

"We should go," Jeff urged over the phone.

"I don't know, babe. I'm not really in the mood to go to a party tonight," Stella sighed, rolling over on her bed to lay on her stomach.

"Come on, it'll be fun," Jeff promised.

"Okay. Fine. I'll come. I'll drive with Noah down to Jessica's. I'll see you there," Stella sighed.

"Yes! Okay. Love you," Jeff said happily.

"I love you too," Stella sighed, smiling to herself as she hung up the phone.

"The party train is leaving, Stella-Bear," Noah called mockingly.

"I'm coming, I'm coming. Chill the fuck out and don't call me Stella-Bear," Stella scoffed, throwing on her clothes and walking out of her bedroom.

"That's too sexy. Go change," Noah said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I'll kick your ass," Stella scoffed, grabbing her purse and walking down the stairs.

"I'd like to see you try, little sis," Noah scoffed, picking up his keys.

"You're three minutes older than me," Stella said, rolling her eyes.

"Still older," Noah quipped, hopping into the car. He cranked up the radio, singing along to every song that blared over the speakers.

"You ready?" Noah asked, pulling up in front of Jessica's house.

"You ready?" Noah asked, his hand hovering the Atkins' doorbell. Stella took a deep breath, nodding silently. A few seconds after he rang the bell, Jeff's mom opened the door and Stella's heart broke all over again.
