The waiting room, despite the fact that it was currently seating six different people, was dead silent. No words were spoken aside from the whispers of the two children; who, from what Locus heard, were awaiting word on if their grandfather would be alright. Their mother kept shushing her kids, because their whispered were getting progressively louder. Locus didn't really care that the kids were talking, but the younger couple in the corner continued with their mild glares if disappointment.

The minutes passed slowly, and eventually turned to hours. Four long hours until a nurse opened the door to call Locus.

"Sam Ortez?" The nurse called.

Locus stood up.

"Oh, lovely. Issac is out of surgery now, he's still waking up though. Would you like to check on him?" The nurse asked.

"Yes, if that's all right." Locus replied.

"Alright, follow me please." The nurse smiled.

Locus followed the nurse down a hallway, passing multiple empty rooms, although some were occupied. Finally they stopped in front of a door. Room number 235.

Locus was nervous, what if something went wrong, what if there was a complication? Well, if something was wrong, the nurse would tell him, right?

Upon opening the door, Locus discovered Felix sitting up in bed, looking confused.

"Hello Felix." Locus greeted with a small smile.

Felix only replied with a blank stare, staying quiet. But after a few minutes of silence, the smaller man spoke up.

"I-I'm sorry. D-do I know y-you?" He said nervously.

"I'm Locus. Your partner for the past three years." Locus said.

"Sorry, i-it doesn't ring a b-bell." Felix stuttered.

"So you really have no clue who I am?"

"You'd thing the confused looks and blank stare would answer that for you."

Locus got up from the chair and left the room.

"I'm sorry to bother you then." He said sadly.
