Early in the morning as Lenient sat down after regaining conscious, he found himself with Rubunga telling him to get enough sleep. But he didn't obey him and he quickly tried to get up but he couldn't because it was requiring a strenuous effort.
With lots of question going in his mind such as what if he was injured? Was he sleepwalking? That's not an option, Do they poisoned him? Well nothing seems to make sense but why can't he try to remember what happened; so to start, Lenient was with some guy on the lake eating some fish and then he heard Scuppy barking and why was scuppy barking? Was it because he didn't have enough fishes? There was no way scuppy could bark about such things instead, it could make sense if scuppy were frisking around, so that's why lenient kept asking himself what was wrong then? Oh, dear Lenient, what happened last night? He kept on asking himself and on a sudden he started recalling seeing all the kine running and in return he started remembering how he was running faster than gods can run as if he was a dead meat and then after getting afar he stopped to see if maybe it was something not able to cause harm and then the rest was unknown, so, what made every cow ran last night? Lenient asked Rubunga, I thought you were asleep, you should seriously get some sleep, He said and Lenient replied No, first answer me; well my answer won't be helpful, you need to get back to your feet and my answer won't help you to do that only enough sleep will, He said again but Lenient kept on pushing him and then angrily he said it was a pack of leopards and Lenient saw one and since that time he went dizzy and unconscious , and then Lenient jumped off the bed quivering and nodding his head while asking himself if that really happened ,Did those leopards sharped their teeth on lenient ? Does Lenient have now some venom in his blood or is he wounded? Instead of replying to his question Rubunga started jeering at him by saying that he was an insult to the creation of gods, when the tussle begin man stand still and fight with all his worth, but him! He was trying to save his own skull, doesn't he have values? Of course he has values, okay then share your values, Said Rubunga well, my values are honesty, resilience and poised; Before Lenient finish to say it, Rubunga quickly replied are you fooling me? Poised? Do you really think you are graceful and elegant bearing? I see nothing of poise in a boy who went to hide and by the way, you have to know that if it wasn't for me you'd have bereft life but now ask yourself which story you should have left on the mountains? Who was Lenient? A boy having a shy at defending his value! or I should even say a boy coming in some nonsensical place but who died clogged up in the middle of nowhere, but let me give you an advice young boy, to live peacefully in our tribe is to submissively accept your responsibility toward your fellow because companionship is our greatest weapon of defence and attack and so far we have never encountered defeat, I assure you" said Rubunga and then Lenient replied "Well, I'm so sorry, I was cold feet and I accept that I reacted stupidly and unnecessary; now I will have to learn how to overcome my fear" and before Rubunga add something else, Yuhi entered and said very loudly that everyone is burdened with life in the hands of fate so Let us for once be more cautious, let us say that altruism is our fieldstone while we may, undoubtedly, only love keeps us stout hearted in this heinous world and speaking of being more cautious, Lenient ought to train with my infantry as a way to help him settle. His horde was named "Stout" because of their sturdy manners and basing on that fact that every infantryman from "Stout" was strong, brave and determined in everything. Stout horde was the most dignified horde in the tribe and of course there was other horde like "The Fuming", "Fortitude Flair" and "The nightshades"; There was nothing else to make Lenient safe other than standing on his feet and joining one of those horde and since Yuhi wanted him among his infantry, he started thinking about all he knew about martial art; I'm very sure that he saw enough Tai-chi movies to start recalling some of the tactics and tricks that would give him a chance; while he was still thinking about all of those things, Yuhi said that the training was supposed to start right then.
From that moment, they showed Lenient where the infantry was, it was on another hill, when he arrived there, Every member of the horde was sitting aligned with some elders in the front instructing them on how to study the identifying markings and traits of any intended quarry; after arriving there, the leading elder told Lenient that if he see himself becoming anxious, he should slow down and if it means temporarily putting a stop to the training, then he should notify the instructor ,nothing is worth taking unnecessary risks during the training; the safety of their infantrymen was always the number one consideration and hearing those words was very consoling for lenient.
By day, in those early training period, Lenient learnt to never stop learning, at first because it was the motto of the Stout horde "Never Stop Learning" but also because the instructing elder would remind them that when you stop learning, you cease to be a fighter and most of the time, his lesson would also teach them how to assess judgment which would also increase their personal spirit and vigour in martial arts and then after all of that ,they would engage the horde in field training which would be focusing mostly on teaching them how to shoot accurately so that they can routinely hit their targets by using spears and arrows.
During his trainings in Stout, Lenient exhausted the hills and the valleys, many poets described him as a young boy full of wild civility but he regarded himself as a pitied boy whose blessing light has foretold an inexorable consolidation for the tribe and whose fate is to die for love; As to his responsibilities in Stout, he was in charge of scouting because he had a special innermost personality. he was not forthright and he paid careful for each and every detail; during the times when he was scouting for Stout, he was sent in behalf of the King to the southeast boarder where the nightshades camped, he had a message that they were supposed to invade the southeast valley before the sunny season and then, he was there when the nightshades invaded the southeast valley, They confronted the southeast army in a waterlogged region and they fought for two nights, The nightshades was the mostly deadly horde in the kingdom, It was a horde full of tall and strong staunch people, It was eye-catching seeing them, they were young people thriving instinctively to live in the zenith of their nation.
When the first son of Yuhi was born, Yuhi formed an obscurely group named "clandestine" which was actuated by the secrecy of the royal power and status, Clandestine were made by people who were naturally sagacious and they were formed and raised at an early age to become members of the Clandestine; since the beginning, Lenient was regarded as a key member of the Clandestine and his responsibility was to grasp mentally the history of the tribe in a poetic recital ,there was also other elders who were key members in Clandestine, some were in charge of protecting the supremacy of the throne by raising and appointing the future king, they would also perform the ritual of crowning him, clandestine had also its own horde called "Rockburst", All the infantrymen from Rockburst were trained to become resilient during the period of an unexpected difficulty conditions, there main responsibility were to forestall ,that's to prevent or obstruct something anticipated at the palace which may impact the ways of the nation, they would do that by taking advance action in strengthening and upholding the legacy of Gihanga all the way through the nation. For Lenient, All he had in mind was to use clandestine in order to prevent all the tragic fate that was waiting to fall on the tribe. As days went one, Lenient kept on living a life of despair while the king was living a life of romance and warfare acts.
