Abigail's eyes fluttered open as her loud and annoying alarm rang really loud. An unattractive groan escaped her lips as she rolled over to put it on snooze. Her head was throbbing from the previous night the only thing she could remember was bumping into Jackie.
She slept for a while more before emerging from her dark room.
"Morning" heard Abigail from a very cheerful Maria who was in fluffy pyjamas and her hedwig slippers.
"Why are you so happy" complained Abigail.
"Why aren't you" said Annie sarcastically.
They both giggled which confused Abigail.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"Do you not remember anything from last night?" asked a slightly confused Maria.
It seemed as though everyone but Abigail remembered her passionate kiss with her all-time favourite actor. She never even remembered meeting Tyler Posey let alone having his tongue down her throat.
"No, what the hell happened?" asked Abigail rubbing her eyes as she was still trying to wake up.
"Well you met a rather, attractive boy, and you two seemed to get along quite well" replied Annie trying to hide a smile.
Annie and Maria shared a mischievous look.
"Just, if someone texts you, show us" said Maria, "anyway, pancakes are ready".
Annie cheered.
-
'Ding' rang Abigail's phone. She looked down on it to see a new message from 'hot guy from last night'
"Guys!" She called for Annie and Maria "I thinks it's the guy you were talking about"
They rushed into her room and Maria snatched the phone.
"Had fun last night, want to meet up if your not too hung over" read out Maria.
Maria and Annie both let out a joyful squeal.
"You have to go, honestly. You need to see this guy again." Said Annie
Abigail was confused why this guy was so important and what happened last night but agreed to text him back. She re-wrote her text about a dozen times making it perfect. She replied "yer sure, a coffee sound good?". She waited patiently for a new text. A few minutes later her responded and they agreed to meet up.
-
Abigail was extremely nervous given that she didn't even know what this guy looked like. She sat outside the café that was decided on and looked at her phone. 1:43, 2 minutes before they were meant to meet. She pretended to look busy on her phone.
"Hey, Abigail" came a familiar voice from behind her.
She turned around to see Tyler and the fangirl inside her exploded.
"Omg, Tyler Posey!? How do you know my name?" Abigail said trying to make sense of the situation.
"What do you mean" Tyler responded with a laugh. He sat opposite her, "What do you want to drink then?"
Suddenly, Abigail remembered what happened the previous night. How could she not have remembered she met her celebrity crush, let alone made out with him.
"Sorry, I guess I'm still trying to recover from last night" Abigail said, trying to play it cool, "Just a latte please".
"Okay cool" Tyler replied while walking inside to grab the drinks.
Abigail fumbled inside her bag for her phone and immediately called Annie, who picked up quickly.
"Oh my god Annie how couldn't you tell me I hooked up with Tyler freekin Posey!" Abigail shouted down the phone.
Annie responded with a laugh, "I didn't want to ruin the surprise"
"He must think I'm a weirdo now, I totally freaked when he showed up" replied Annie.
"It will be fine, you two certainly kicked it off last night" encouraged Annie.
"Got to go, he's coming" said Abigail.
"One Latte for the lady" Tyler said with a gorgeous smile spreading across his face.
Abigail laughed sweetly.
"So, should we actually get to know each other?" Asked Tyler.
"What would you like to know sir" said Abigail trying to hide the fact she already knew a lot about him through hours of cyber-stalking.
"Hmmm.....favourite colour?" asked Tyler.
"Wow, bit deep for a Sunday don't you think?" Replied Abigail.
"Sorry, I really stepped over the line there" said Tyler.
They both giggled. They talked for hours about Tyler's crazy celebration life and Abigail's crazy love life. Abigail finally forgot about the whole Jackie thing. All thoughts of him escaped her mind as she sat there. The experience felt surreal and too good to be true until she saw a familiar face. They began to get close and Abigail realised I was of correct, Jackie. He walked past and the pair tried to avoid awkward eye contact. Abigail felt distracted so decided to call the wifey.
She went to the loo and called Annie.
"Whats up" said Annie, " is the date alright."
"The dates fine yer but Jackie just walked past us" replied Abigail.
"Oh dear" sighed Annie.
"Yep" Abigail said, feeling exhausted.
"Don't let it ruin it though" said Annie trying to make Abigail feel better.
"I know, its just hard to get over him"
They talked for a bit longer before Abigail fixed her make up and went back to Tyler.
"Everything alright" he asked.
"Yer, I'm fine"
As they talked Abigail tried to imagine a future with him, a future without Jackie. He was so charming, sweet and very attractive. In that moment, for the first time in what felt like forever, she saw a different life.
A few coffees and laughs later, it started to get dark.
"I best be getting home, we've been sat her for hours" said Abigail. And it was, literally, 4 hours.
"I'll drive you home if you like" replied Tyler.
"No, its fine. I'm just round the corner" replied Abigail, "we really must do this again though"
"Agreed" replied Tyler getting out of his seat.
They both got up and shared a hug. They pulled back and looked in each others eyes for a second. Tyler's eyes twinkled as he leaned in and kissed her. His lips were soft and his grip was tight. His hand raised to her head and he pulled her closer. The kiss was long but Abigail certainly wasn't complaining. Their lips parted and they smiled at each other.
"On second thoughts, do you want to come back to my place?" Tyler asked.
Abigail nodded and they started to walk away from the coffee shop, hands intertwined.
Abigail stopped and looked back at her.
"It purple by the way, my favourite colour."
