"It's cold."
Tuesday rolled her eyes. "Of course it's cold, Jen." She told Jennete. It was a Saturday, and the two didn't have work today. "It's almost winter!"
The two girls were walking down a street full of shops: Jennete had nicknamed it Fashion Boulevard.
"Oh, look at that!" Jennete gasped, pointing at a Louis Vuitton bag on display. Tuesday didn't deny that it was a beautiful bag, but she frowned lightly.
"Let's be realistic, Jen." Tuesday sighed. "We can't afford that."
"I know we can't," said Jennete, "But a girl can dream, can't she? How much is our budget?"
"I've got £100 in my pocket." Tuesday said.
"Is that all your savings?" Jennete said innocently.
"At least I don't spend all my money on Abercrombie clothes." Tuesday replied coolly as she glanced at a strapless white dress on sale.
"Touche." Jennete muttered.
Just then, a girl with fiery red hair up in pigtails bounded up to them. She was bouncing on her heels and looking around wildly.
"Did you see them?" The redhead said in one breathe. "Did you see where they went?"
"Who?" Jennete and Tuesday asked at the same time.
"One Direction!"
"Who's that?" Tuesday asked, confused.
"Never mind." The redhead said in disgust, running away.
"That girl's off her rocker," Jennete snorted.
"Oh, shush." Tuesday sighed. "C'mon, let's go check out Forever 21. I think I'll go buy Mitch a nice shirt."
[...]
"I think we lost 'em." Zayn panted, clutching to his chest.
"Nope." Louis groaned. Over a thousand girls had spotted Zayn, Louis, Harry, Niall and Liam hiding in a nearby alley, causing loads of screaming/shrieking.
"RUN!" Niall hollered.
The boys didn't need telling twice: They ran off at top speed and rushed in to the nearest shop they passed.
The thousand plus girls ran past, screaming on the top of their lungs in excitement.
"Now," Liam sighed. "Now we lost them."
"Hey, guys..." Harry pointed at a brunette who was standing in front of a clothes rack, moving aside shirt by shirt.
She was wearing a grey jacket that had a leopard print shaped like a heart on it and some cut/beaten up jeans. She matched some nerd glasses with a Jack Wills bag, ending with some red sneakers and her hair tied up in to a ponytail.
"Isn't that Tuesday?"
Niall, Louis, Zayn and Liam squinted to look at the girl.
"Oi!" Louis called. "Tuesday!"
The brunette looked over at their direction and smiled. She walked over to them with a bounce in her step.
"Hey." She greeted cheerily. "I can't say I'm not surprised to see you here."
"Yeah, it's rare we see people twice." Zayn admitted. "But I was planning on going to Starbucks soon so..."
Tuesday chuckled a bit.
"You guys live around here?" She asked, motioning out of the door.
"M-hm." Niall nodded. "We just... travel alot."
"Ah," Tuesday said with a nod, not pressing for any more information. "I'd like to travel one day. Where have you guys been?"
"Er... Australia. Paris. America- Madison Square Garden, to be exact. California... Hollywood..."
"Wow!" Tuesday exclaimed, smiling broadly. "I've always wanted to go to Paris. Was it nice?"
Before any of the boys could reply, a blonde haired girl walked up to Tuesday, a blue shirt with the words "I'M CUTE!" sewed in pink letters in her hand.
Harry smirked a bit as Zayn caught his breathe.
"Tuesday, how 'bout this for Mitch?" The blonde suggested, holding up the shirt.
"It's perfect!" Tuesday gasped, staring at the shirt and checking the price tag. Suddenly, her face fell. She shot the blonde a sad look who bit her lip and put the shirt on a nearby rack.
"So... um, Jen, this is Harry, Zayn, Louis, Liam and Niall." Tuesday said quickly, introducing the boys to the blonde haired girl.
"I'm Jennete." Jennete introduced herself with a smile.
"Nice to meet you." Zayn said coolly, though the other boys could notice how nervous he sounded.
"Do you want that shirt?" Harry asked, pointing at the blue shirt behind Tuesday.
Tuesday glanced at it before grinning sheepishly at Harry. "I was going to buy it for my younger sister."
Harry walked over to it and checked the price. It only cost around a hundred-ten.
The boy glanced over at his friends and they gave him a small nod.
"What about we buy it for you?" Harry offered.
"Buy it for me?" Tuesday repeated. Harry nodded.
"No way." She refused. "I won't let you spend that much."
Harry smiled. He could've told her that he earned millions, but he fought back that feeling.
"C'mon," He urged. "It's the least I could do for a pretty girl like you." Harry added with a cheeky wink.
Tuesday's cheeks turned crimson, but she shook her head. "No. I've got a hundred here in my pocket, what about you just give me the ten I need?"
"Nope." Harry said. "Come on, Tuesday. I'll buy it for you. I want to do it. Please?"
Tuesday bit her lip.
"Say yes, already!" Zayn urged.
"Say yes, say yes!" The boys and Jennete started to chant, leaving Tuesday to stare at a smiling Harry with doubt.
"Okay." Tuesday said slowly. "But- I owe you one, okay? I have to pay you back."
Harry nodded as he walked up to the cashier, paying for the shirt and giving the bag to Tuesday.
He gave her a smile which she returned.
"Can we walk you girls home?" Niall offered.
"No thanks," Tuesday said quickly. "I, er, need to go someplace first."
Jennete and her shared a look, and Harry felt that they weren't being entirely truthful.
"What I mean is... you've done enough for us." Tuesday said quietly.
The boys nodded hesitantly.
"Bye." Tuesday said, and she started to walk away, but Harry caught her wrist.
"CanIhaveyournumber?" Harry said quickly.
"Pardon me?" Tuesday asked politely.
Harry took a deep breathe. "Can I have your number?" He repeated slowly.
Tuesday bit her lip and smiled. "Okay." She replied. Harry pulled out his phone as she told him her number.
"Bye." She said again with a small wave, walking away with Jennete.
"Got her number?" Zayn whispered to Harry silently so that only Harry could hear him.
Harry nodded.
"I got Jennete's too," Zayn commented.
"You so like her." Harry smirked.
"So?" Zayn countered. "You like Tuesday too."
Harry rolled his eyes, but he didn't disagree or agree at all.
