"He said that?" Jenny said wide eyed.

Eleanor responded with a nod.

"Hold up!" Bailey stood up from the floor where the three sat discussing the previous events of the day. "You're telling me that James Sirius Potter intended to give you amortentia?"

Eleanor sighed. "Yes."

"No way!" Bailey exclaimed. Jenny smacked her on the leg. "Ow!"

"Why not? I mean, we kind of predicted it didn't we?" said Jenny.

"Wait. Predicted?"

"Shush, Elle, the adults are talking here."

Bailey chuckled as Eleanor glared at the two.

"Anyway." Bailey said as she sat down before facing Jenny. "Yeah, I know we kind of talked about Eleanor and James feeling something towards each other, and it's not a surprise that James would be one to feel something towards Elle. But, I didn't think he'd take it as far as amortentia."

Jenny sighed. "James Sirius Potter. Quite the unpredictable one that is."

"Yes. Unpredictable indeed." Bailey faced Eleanor this time. "The question is: How do you feel?"

"What?" Eleanor said, looking a bit alarmed.

The two girls grinned. "How do you feel Eleanor?" said Jenny

"W-what do you mean?"

"I mean... How do you feel about James?"

"Yeah, I mean, he practically just proclaimed his love for you!"

"No he didn't! All he did was slip up with his words! It was probably just a prank to make me look stupid!"

Jenny scoffed. "Yeah, right!"

"Don't you see Elle? James likes you! He's the one!"

"James Sirius Potter-" Eleanor spat. "Is not the one for me. He is not my soulmate!"

"Actually, I meant he was the one to be your date for the Yule Ball, but that works too!"

"It does not work!"

"Hey! You said it not us!" Jenny said as Bailey laughed beside her. "Face it Elle. You like James!" Jenny poked Eleanor in the stomach in a teasing manner.

"I do not like James!"

"Oh, really?"

"Really!"

Bailey scoffed. "Doubtful!"
Jenny laughed.

Eleanor sighed and groaned as the two continued to giggle among themselves.

"James and Eleanor-" the two started to sing.

"No..."

"Sitting in a tree!" Bailey stood up.

"No!"

"S-N-O-G-G-I-N-G!" Jenny sang as she jumped.

Eleanor pressed her palms against her ears. "La la la la la la!"

Bailey jumped on the bed and Jenny followed. "First comes love-" the two said in unison.

"Stop it!"

"Then comes marriage!"

"Alright I get it! Just stop it you two!" Eleanor said, grabbing the two girls by their feet and pulling on them. The two fell on their backs on the bed.

Bailey and Jenny continued to giggle.

"So, are you going with him to the ball?" Jenny started.
